Off Duty Injured

  • An off-duty Chicago police officer is in critical condition with a broken neck and 2 broken legs, after a crash on the Eisenhower Expressway on the city’s West Side.

    The officer is 32 years old and joined the Chicago Police Dept. in April of 2017. He works out of the 8th District, Chicago Lawn.

    The crash happened around 11:55 p.m. Sunday on the inbound side of I-290 at Kedzie Avenue.
Prayers for him, his family and his 008 District co-workers.
