Polluting the Jury Pool
Notorious criminal defense attorney Ed Gensen all but assured that R. Kelly defense team will have plenty of grounds for a trial outside of Cook County (via wife beater Steinberg):
- “He was guilty as hell!” Genson said. “I don’t think he’s done anything inappropriate for years. I’ll tell you a secret: I had him go to a doctor to get shots, libido-killing shots. That’s why he didn’t get arrested for anything else.”
I wondered if this statement might violate attorney/client privilege. But 1) Genson volunteered the information; 2) Kelly is no longer his client; and 3) attorney/client privilege doesn’t hold if a client is engaged in ongoing criminality or is perjuring himself. Both might be the case if Kelly is indeed found guilty.
Gensen is dying of cancer, so he probably won't live long enough to face a disbarment hearing. And now, Kelly's people can make a pretty good argument there's no way to seat a jury that hasn't heard at least part of this - which might actually backfire, seeing as how his base of support runs deep here.

The following message is to Mr. Genson; thank you captain obvious
What...
The entire FUCK?
"Libido Killing Shots"
Seriously?
"Arra Kelly" should've rendered

Nasty, no impulse control having,

#3 is wrong slightly.. Privilege isn't removed just because someone is no longer your client. Disclosing you instructed your client to get libido suppression injections because of "insert allegation here" is a Law License Losing Statement Right there.
Privilege only fails to apply IF you are currently their Lawyer and you Knowingly Engage in a Criminal Conspiracy to further the etc...yada yada yada.
Polluting the jury pool? R Kelly is pollution in humankind's gene pool!
They might have to fly in 12 monks from mongolia to get a jury who has not heard of the pedophiles exploits.
He goes outside of Cook County he will go down hard. The community jury pool is his only chance. LOL POS DESERVES to be under the jail or better yet under ground.
The privilege rests with the client, not the attorney.
move the trial?
yea, to markham or maywood.
Is that the same Genson so honorably mentioned by Bob Cooley in his book "when corruption was king" along with the Burkes?

Go back to the beginning of the article where he says he’s DYING of cancer. He gives no fucks about attorney client privilege.
It is Genson's opinion. Many lawyers defend clients they know are guilty. A good defense attorney asks the client, "tell me the truth, if I defend you I have to know the truth." Then, they only try to raise reasonable levels doubt, no more. Genson did nothing unethical and will never be disbarred.

Watch the YouTube interview with Gayle King.
When R. Kelly jumps up and flails his arms around,
do you think he is being subdued by estrogen?
You gotta have testosterone to do that. Also,
he is fit, trim, and muscular. If his testosterone
was suppressed or lowered, would he look like that?
I agree with you SCC. R Kelly’s most fanatic supporters are here.
He miraculously got an acquittal here in Crook County a decade ago.
Moving the trial would most likely backfire on the defense.
Finding an ignorant jury pool won’t be a problem, but trying find and choose a stupid is, and better for the defense.
Although it took 6 years to get that trial to a jury of peers, I wonder what the case had stricken under S.A. Devine’s office and why.
Celebrity immunity...here?
How likely were Corrupt Crook County officials had their campaign coffers filled?
Under restorative justice it might be even a better deal, foregoing lengthy trials in exchange for a plea program.
Forbidding the entire prosecutorial and judiciary from accepting campaign donations and see what happens.
There would be no incentives and maybe the Courts would just have do their jobs by the book - or not.
Gotta wonder, who’s really staying fetal us or the County prosecution.
Who really cares.
No arrests and we could one day put them all out of business.
at one time eddie was a very good attorney but if you looked at some of his cases later on in his career he lost way more than he won. I remember him in the old days he would never hurt a police officer especially if he saw you in the different courts every day.
Will Eddie Gensen who's made millions off of defending other high-profile "guilty-as-hell" defendants come clean and offer up information on each of them as well?
C'mon Ed, according to Steinberg, you are 'dying of cancer and won't live long enough to face a disbarment hearing.'
Do a 'tell-all' and be part two of (Cooley's) Chicago, "When Corruption Was King."
Y’all quit playing!!!
Go ahead and send this to DuPage County. He’ll be found so guilty they’ll bring back the death penalty for him somehow.
We’ve been defining Attorney Client privilege down for a while now. And some of us will suffer for having done that.
Anonymous 0700 , yeah it's the same Ed Genson from Cooley's book, who along with chicken hawk Kelly and the both the Burke's, should be locked up UNDER THE FUCKING JAIL.
I want t know who the idiot that paid his child support to get him out of jail?
Kiss that money goodbye

Ahhh..yup...I missed that point.
Thanks.
Latest angle is that R.K. needs to perform to
generate cash for child support.
Mystery "business man" paid his support tab,
so he walked and is free now.
Sicko to be a ped. Has two young girlfriends
now. I guess a man needs a hobby.
His name is Ed Genson - not Gensen
