So what exactly does that idiot IG do. We know IAD can’t be trusted to do anything about connected games.
The Department really needs to audit the use of department vehicles. At HQ almost every Sgt. and LT. have a take home rental car for no real purpose. They are only used to drive from home to HQ with no real work purpose. The only time they are used during the work day is for getting lunch. Yet no vehicles are available if the need to use one for work as they treat them like they own them.
This perk costs the city thousands of dollars a month with absolutely NO oversite.
She’s been doing it for years, that’s called theft, IAD check the GPS,always took Sgts assigned unmarked cars , home. A PO who has never made a arrest or even wrote a ticket, but yelled at Sgts in front of other coppers because she sleeps with a Deputy Chief

The Commanders Secretary in Mass Transit, even parks the CPD. Unmarked car in Unit 701 watch Commander reserved parking space next to entrance door

Of course, secretaries should have take home cars in case there is an emergency and they have to get into the office as soon as possible and do whatever it is secretaries do in emergencies. This is especially true if they are in Wisconsin or Indiana and have to get back in a hurry.

What about all the Headquarters take home cars ? The lot is full of new mp-plated cars that are all used as take home cars for the clouted, while the Detectives cannot find a car to respond to a crime scene.
I though that you needed to be in a position that required emergency response per the extended use vehicle order. Now its done by clout.

dept will never GPS the take home cars of clouted Unit folks----or for that matter the "Unit cars" assigned at HQ....cause they know it would find a massive waste of resources.
Just drive by Mt. Greenwood school at drop off and pick up times and see all of the Municipal license plates dropping off and picking up kids. Is it some kind of transportation program that I can enroll my kids in.

I worked in HQ for a few years. In the 1st Deputy office is kept a list of those people who allowed take home cars and parking spaces at HQ. There were many civilians on the list as well as police officers who were insiders. It is all about clout, not need
if she had to swipe in she would owe the city $$$$$
