The only outlet covering the wilding assholes attack a security guard at McDonald's on the Mag Mile:
- Chicago police this afternoon offered new information about the incident: The security guard, a suburban policeman, was on-duty for the McDonald's restaurant Saturday afternoon. He was leading the two men out of the restaurant when one of them struck the guard on the head with a glass bottle, police said. A struggle ensued and was captured on video.
A CPD spokesperson on Monday said the department did not have a report about the incident on file. Today, however, Chicago police said officers were called to the scene, but the two offenders were gone by the time cops arrived. The security guard was treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The video shows the attack quite clearly and you should go over to the CWB blog to see it. The "media" won't be showing it any time soon because it doesn't further the "narrative" that we all know to be so much bullshit. Suffice it to say the security guard shows far more restraint than many other persons would have.

Channel 2 news was all over this story couple days ago. They even showed random people of all colors the video who all backed the officer for pulling out his gun.

The Tact teams were too busy locking up people for sitting on milk crates on the public way, walking in the street when a sidewalk is available and imaginary gang representation without any victims. Its time for all districts to get rid of gang and tact teams. Put them in uniform and in marked squad cars like the rest of us. The numbers game does not work. 10 tact officers down on a 1 person city charge. Waste of manpower, time and money. The numbers games gave us the ISR and a consent decree.
The media is the devil in disguise. Rotten to the core. Only report stories they feel fit the current societal narrative. They do stories that are approved by the politicians and their activists. For example...the off duty Sgt that did a drive by shooting of the autistic kid got very little time. It was hidden and so was the Sgt. If the media cared they would hammer this case and find out why? Was someone paid off? If a white or Hispanic Sgt did this it would be on national news. Farter flaker Jesse and everyone else would be protesting until he was put in prison. Where’s Kim Foxx on this case?
The other interesting news was that the corporate owners of Water Tower Place feel free to order news organizations to not cover yhe news.

This is clear evidence of the normal behavior that is accepted in certain communities. Violence is the answer to everything. I’ll bet it is somehow turned against the security guard. He used unreasonable force. I’m so sick of the bullshit. How much more can we take this. No one speaks for the law enforcement. Not only are we physically attacked but then the situation is twisted so that we are at fault. I’m sick to my stomach.

I'm not a cop, but the Mickey D's at Chicago & State is a good place to avoid. Has been for a long long time.
The same thing happened to Zimmerman, only there was one of them. He used his gun, and look what happened to him. That prosecution was intended as a reverberating warning: don't risk defending yourself against them.
The Greater North Michigan Avenue Association has been putting the blanket over crime in that area for a long time. Now, it look like their behavior is coming back to haunt them. The hotels and the hospital have experienced thefts in all sorts for decades. There are rings of pickpockets that were actually working inside Northwestern Hospital, on the elevators, in the dining area, and even in patient's rooms.
It will be a LONG HOT SUMMER.

Not that hard to understand. If offenders were gone and suburban officer didn’t want to do anything, I can understand coding it out. Probably happens everyday, only because video was shown did it get attention
How many CPD detective resources will be used to identify and find these offenders? I have the under that it won't be anywhere near those expended in the Smellit case, despite that area being covered in cameras. Maybe the asscrack recognition system will pop a match on the one offender so prominently displaying his in the video.

Any thinking person has 0.0 qualms about taking a life or causing injury (with a firearm or other means) if being physically attacked seriously. That said when there are many, many other ways to end the attack without those lethal results then that is the best conclusion to use those other ways.
The video was all over the news a few days ago. Something about an armed man fends of two muggers downtown. They made it seem like the officer/security guard exaggerated or was in the wrong.
Must be why the department is rolling out its summer mobile unit a month earlier than normal. It starts May2nd now as opposed to Memorial Day weekend.
I know this isn't Second City Lawyer, but if the security guard had opened fire, would that have been a legal shooting?

Self preservation for CBS-2 News Chicago, their studio is over on McClurg Ct. I wouldn't doubt that they have encountered these honor students around the neighborhood. Closest Red Line stop to their studio is--you guessed it--right next to this McDonalds at Chicago and State.
Off topic had to go to the Social Security office today so I walked in I saw a D.H.S. police officer and I did the wrong thing mention I was the police mistake. Before I got the question out are you armed not thing yes. Sorry Ofc. If it's not official business you can't be armed in here, he said u could come back tomorrow said no problem secured it in my car. 29 years would have never did that to any copper. I guess it's a different time.

The common measure in criminal law is what a reasonable person would believe/do.
The lawful use of deadly force states in fear of imminent death or great bodily harm to you or another person. So the legal question is, right here right now if I don't use deadly force I'm going to be killed or SERIOUSLY injured and is this what a reasonable person would also believe ?
Unfortunately political correctness will also be weighed concerning the event.

These are the same ones that will be knocking on our doors when the gun confiscation begins. Lucky for us they aren't the real police, so shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Worked security down there for several years at the Rock. This happens all the time and never a word is said. 24/7 resturants should not be open like this anymore. You should see the videos of what is never released
I didn't see it anywhere in local media. I saw it posted several times on Facebook from conservative sites.
I was duck-duck going (don't use google) looking for good places to live/retire in the country. At least one site said stay out of Chicago, lots of crime and violence....
The local TV channels in town are worthless, dishonest and hide the truth or mischaracterize it to fit their local political narrative in their crime reporting. Even when they report on the weather and sports you still have to verify their accuracy and look out the window for your own weather check and/or catch the game to ensure who won.
Political reporters who get all fired up are nothing but spent fires. Investigating Teams never take on any political heavy lifting for fear of getting in trouble. People with the title of "Dean" of political this and that flip political nothing burgers. In all fairness to them some of their best work is done on the parade floats throwing candy to the kids. Accuracy and speaking truth to power left this town a long time ago.
If you have to watch the local media clown show just watch how the news readers interact with one another. One news reader could tell the other that you have the face of a horses' ass. The other smiles back, giggles a lot and say something stupid and turns it over the weather reader. Not even worthy of a "B" grade acting mention. The best is the alleged street reporters. Saying nothing about something. Always ending with "the police continue to investigate".
Remember: The local media + their 4th Estate entitlements = the 5th Column.
