Insurance Tickets?
- A 67-year-old man was given a citation for not having insurance after he struck two children Friday night on the Northwest Side, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., a 9-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy walked onto the street in the 3200 block of North Narragansett Avenue, where they were stuck by a 2001 Honda Civic, said police.
The children were taken with non-life-threatening injuries to Lutheran General Hospital.
We guess everything has been written about Rahm leaving Lori a billion dollar tab and there weren't a dozen people shot to start the weekend.

Write about how that asshole got a smullet sentence of only 3 years for manufacturing meth, causing a fire at a motel when the cook went bad, and clocked a elderly cab driver to sleep.
I hope the children recover quickly and fully.
Nothing worse than being laid up at the beginning of Summer.
The narrative doesn't include honestly discussing Chicago's or Illinois' finances until the roof caves in. They won't touch that story until the checks start bouncing again.
The press resorts to a lot of these bs stories.
Look at any of your local news stations, daily they report on crap that occurs across the nation. Those stories are crime occurring in other cities ( a burglary in Houston, a robbery in Floria) it is really ridiculous. It's just to fill up space and avoid any real news like the private behind the scenes voting on judges.

Typical media story to put a negative spin to 'blame the police.'
If a daredevil police officer successfully jumped off the Hancock Building into a bowl of soup 95 floors below, the media would report that the soup was cold.
Media is quick to report Any bad White people crimes, even if it involves 2 children hit with non-life threatening injuries.
Need to balance the violations somehow...

Hey...it's news. But wait, no ticket for 'pedestrians in roadway/due caution?' Or has that one been taken off the books?
Is that even a Must Appear these days and if a ticket was issued it must have been on the 016 side of the intersection.
Anyway, 8:30 pm and kids are out and about in the dark and most all older driving folks lose that razor sharp vision in low light.
Who’s got time to pay attention these days, driving or walking.
Maybe Rahm didn’t get around to installing LED lights in that community intersection yet due to more resources needlessly wasted elsewhere.
Though it’s not entirely the bowels of the City, but with GrootFoot in charge now it’ll be getting that status quickly.

Reporters are so young that they don’t recognize a scandal or illegal crimes. Everything is cotton candy, roses and sob stories to them. You have to leave bread crumb trails for them. Just look at their tweets. Last good young reporter in Chicago was Peter Nickeas and he left for greener pastures. Is anyone left to mentor the newbies? Paper and Tv media should be exposing the crap going on in Chicago and Cook County at all levels and departments. Maybe people would start buying and reading papers again and watching local news. There is so much corruption more reporters would have to be hired. Instead, the only thing one can assume is they are in bed with the powers that be.
Zerohedge.com is a great site you guys will like. They had a perfect article about Chicago and the fake news. Tribune wrote an article about the CCL holder shooting an armed home invader and the trib called the dead guy the victim and phrased the whole article in that manor. Despicable. I read the articles it’s the most obvious bs political post by the trib. It’s funny that ZH called them out as they are a national site with a lot of good chicago articles. But now many ppl are calling for the firing of the trib author which is only right. Check it out think it’s something that should be discussed and or movement against the trib.

Fools believe in our local media and TV news readers. They provide the same mindless banter and say the same useless things. Half baked stories, misinformation, lack of descriptive offender information, selective replay of certain stories, guest cooking segments, discussions on dating, children misusing Iphones. This is not news, its entertainment. Entertainment shows don't do news. No real investigative reporting and certainly no real hard hitting press conferences with the politically powerful cause they'll loose press access. Little wonder as to why viewership is down. The news media is the propaganda arm of the Machine.

They pulled that one after the TMA sued the City for False Arrest after a Cop took her in on that charge after She ticketed the private vehicle and wouldn't Non-Suit in the Field.
And the TMA got PAID and a Promotion over that one.
But then...Thats the the quality we have in the CPD.
