Just heard the interview of Tom Dart on WBBM At Issue -- now available at https://www.radio.com/media/podcast/issue-wbbm-newsradio
where Dart explains that the judges are going too far in letting people out of pre-trial custody. Dart said that there are currently 50 people charged with murder or attempted murder that the judges have let out!
Has Tommy sensed public outrage? Or is he playing up the recent Crimesha missteps throughout her office as a typical politician might do? He was instrumental in emptying the jail, playing along with Prickwrinkle and Evans. Is he slipping his leash or is Toni pulling his strings again?

Back out of the news when the State opened investigation and Dart told to get back in his corner. Before that the cemetery,before that Gacy.Tommie can't stand to not be in the news for more than a minute. He's been waiting to see if his brother the lobbyist and the Jr. Burke hire get connected to Burkes indictment but that ego can only relax for so long.
How many Officers do you have on the street checking and violating these people Tom ? How many exempt political hacks do you have as asst. to the asst. director Tom ? How many Officers have been injured due to your short staffing and no such thing as a bad boy policies ? Now for some sick political reason your going to talk tough ? HAHAHA....
Sounds like a great story for a reporter to investigate.
How many of these alleged criminals died on the streets?
How many killed or committed more crimes?
How many fled when they had the chance?
Or look at the other side,
How many were convicted or pled out vice being cleared or found not guilty?
Maybe there were reasons to let them back on the streets besides some Democrat was pandering to a certain voter base?

With all the taxes we pay, there is no way that the county is broke! The management and corruption is broken. Been that way for decades!

How about opening an investigation into why the victim and family were in the U.S. to begin with? Can't do that, democrats would never win an election without illegals voting.
Maybe if the county/city would have enforced the law, the poor girl would still be alive and where she belongs.

Actually it is a common tactic to cause deflection. Tommy is being sued by the women employees at the jail for not doing anything about inmate harassment and the lawyers want to make it a class action, which means big bucks.

I've said this before to City Employees around town and I'll say it here now...
We don't need Cook County. The City of Chicago should vote to Incorporate as its Own County and kick Cook back to Markham.
We have our own Water Department.
The Department of Finance could also Assess Property Taxes in a way that is more socio-economically sustainable for the variety of income brackets that live in Chicago. Our Sales Tax is high enough without the County carpet bagging on their addition. CPS issues Bonds to raise funds.
Every Penny Raised in Chicago by Chicagoans shouldn't go to help pay for the Uber Bloated Corrupt Cook County boondoggle.
We should have our own Courts...Juvie, Misdemeanor and Felony. Assuming nothing is at 2929 S. Ellis Avenue (Mike Reece Hospital) we could build a Jail there to House for City and County type level infractions and have our own Corporate Council Peosecute for offenses that could end someone up in IDOC.
Crook County needs our $$$ more than we need Tommy and Kim and Toni.
I am enjoying my baloney sandwich as I read about this.
