- Will Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx — the key player in the Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax fiasco — invoke the Fifth Amendment when questioned by special prosecutor Dan Webb?

According to other lawyers and judges I interviewed, Foxx’s defense attorneys would be sorely tempted to have her take the Fifth, even before a grand jury.
When you get down to the brass tack, this isn't about Smell-it. It's about influence peddling and Mrs. Sparklefarts former Chief of Staff and lawyer/fixer Tina Tchen, not to mention the Family Sparklefarts themselves and their actions behind the scenes.
Our best guess is the Chicago Machine is in the midst of an internecine (look that one up) war between the Old Guard and the Prickwrinkle faction which is currently aligned with the Sparklefarts people.

About 4 years ago a kid from the burbs was murdered during a robber at the brownline Wellington stop. The offender Christopher Pitts ribbed the victim of his wallet and phone. After taking the phone the victim demanded his phone back when Pitts shot him twice in the chest killing him. Witnesses pointed officers to a rooftop the offender got on after the robbery. Pitts was found with the victims phone in his pants pocket and only wearing one shoe. Jury trial with a finding of not guilty of first degree murder and a conviction of involintary manslaughter. The ASAs on this case were PERFECT.. and I mean that. They were two ASAs that are 100 percent with us. It’s just a failure of our society and liberal cook county thinking and system. We went from Anita Alvarez to Kim Foxx as Cook County State's Attorney. Anita Alvarez was 100% better!!!!
Expect her to take the Fifth on anything of substance and to play the victim with respect to everything else. Prime example: after US Atty Bill Barr's on-point statement regarding progressive prosecutors (quoted in a previous SCC post), Foxx joined with two other SJWs to write an op ed criticizing him for criticizing prosecutors like her. Poor Kim feels attacked. Here's the link:

There is too much material in here to discuss with any brevity. But my personal favorite part is when she bragged that she joined with 70 other current and former elected prosecutors, law enforcement leaders, and DOJ officials and judges to share this opinion of "many of our nation's criminal justice leaders." Really, Kim? A whole 70 people?? You are so big time. Not.
There are 102 counties in IL, which means 102 elected State's Attorneys in this State alone. Multiply that by 50 states and toss in AGs, police chiefs, etc. from all these jurisdictions and I bet your whopping 70 people represent about .0001% of the nation's criminal justice leaders. Then start counting up all the prosecutors and police officers out there in the trenches actually prosecuting cases (who understand how the CJ system works and absolutely disagree with everything you and your bs progressive prosecution political platform say and do) and your gang of 70 becomes even less significant.
Everyone in the law enforcement community knows Foxx is an unqualified and incompetent SA with her own agenda for doing what she does... And it has nothing to do with making our streets safer. Foxx's constant self-aggrandizing (like in this op ed) should be a giant red flag to those outside the law enforcement community who might like the sound of the propaganda she's spreading. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. CC voters need to wake up in March.

Good job to Orland Park mayor for making the point that Cook County State's Attorney is NOT SENTENCING criminals to the fullest extent of the law!

How can some idiot post the original post about the Asa. Judges do the sentencing. I’d say he or she is not a po but after I see the new recruits , not sure. Not to bumrap the good recruits, but some of the new ones really don’t want to be be the police, just pay and benefits

Kim Fix needs to be voted out of office because of her and her office's handling of the Derrion Albert case. Those thugs were given suspended sentences to be reinstated if they broke the law again. However, when hey did, nothing was done.
