Free Water!

When the city spends money on construction, it gets bottom of the barrel results:

That's not a leak. That's a downpour inside the Annex at 18th and State.

That must be a Chicago Police Station. There’s always water coming down from somewhere. Just don’t come in contact with it as a new study “Cancer-Linked Contaminants Found In Chicago’s Drinking Water” article appears in the Chicago Patch News. patch.com. 26 Oct 19. Wonder if this study will appear in that glossy flyer that the Mayor’s have been sending out to citizens for years on how pristine our water is.

Can someone please identify the contractors and construction companies that built that building and others that are literally falling apart after a few years? Of course, we know they are politically connected and there probably was graft involved in the bidding process. But, who are they? Is it union labor? At one time, an enterprising young reporter could get quite a story with some digging. Not anymore.

Don't buy the hype... Sure the sign says free water but when I try to bottle it and sell it as authentic Chicago Indoor Nonstop Rainwater then I get treated like a criminal and told to cut it out... What a city.

If the data is good after the trial run is wrapped up, then the wetness protocol will be deployed city wide.

The Diagnosis:
My city plummer’ skills says that your water got lead in it.
So heavy so it’s falling out the cilling.

The Fix:
Gradually, in about 10 years the building is expected to lean another +/- 15° to the west.
All errant water will then be directed away from this corridor.
Please be patient.

Green Teen GretaThunberg Award:
Winner - 1st Dist Eng for their “End Global Thirst First” rain harvesting cooperative.

The Rigging:
That contraption (union installed I hope) looks like the same water system the Clinton Foundation (pre-Trump era) installed after the hurricanes in the Caribbean except they used blue tarps instead of Armstong 2x2 acoustical mineral fiber ceiling tiles as the gathering trap.

I only drink filtered water. At least a five stage reverse osmosis filtration process and then the water must be put into glass container, no plastic.

So... Does this water from above now in the annex count as filtered water?

This is like 35th and Michigan where when the building was built the foundation did not reach bed rock and that is why the "tilt a whirl," building is always in disrepair. From bathrooms leaking water, rain water from parking lot coming into building tilted in if the janitors don't sweep it back, to the dock doors crooked edges not sealing, to the ghost opening desks that without wood under corners open by themselves. Then the gym area where years ago they replaced the round dumbbells with hex so the would not roll to the other corner of the room!

Faulty construction, paid-off democrats recipe for disaster, this entire state, county, city needs a massive enema!

The new building at 050, at the cost of around $9mil, has heating issues, along with the leaky roof three day’s after it opened, and the sewer backup into the building, complete with fecal floaters, on day 8. The men’s locker room might as well be outside, because there’s gale-force winds blowing in from the ductwork. Can’t wait to see what happens next week with the weather.

Dealt with Walsh for years on a business level and can tell you they are every bit the giant piece of shit you'd picture a big connected Chicago firm being. Bad enough they're grossly overpaid with tax payer money for their projects, they like to not pay their bills as well. Chicago values.

Newsflash! They aren’t fixing anything in schools. Word came down during the teachers strike that they won’t fix anything that isn’t life and death situation for teachers or students.

Also, you sound like you were 16 sheets to the wind when you wrote this. Do better.
