Doing What Needs Doing

An Officer was killed in New Jersey yesterday, prior to what turned into an HBT incident spanning something like ten hours. Three others were killed before police managed to kill the two assassins. Two other cops were hurt by rifle fire.

You want to see some heroism:

There's video somewhere, we just can't find it at the moment, but the Sergeant leaves cover, runs over to the downed officer, and is starting to drag him by the back of his vest, before he finally got his legs under him, all while shots are ringing out. We don't know if he's holding his torso or has a busted arm, but he was down on the ground in a lot of pain.

That's one ballsy sergeant, doing what needed to be done. Whatever medals Jersey City has, they aren't nearly enough for what we saw on the video. Maybe she ought to apply to be Superintendent here.

I’m betting neither of the two shooters passed NJ’s protocols for obtaining their weapons. NJ has tough gun laws, just like California, yet those laws didn’t prevent this tragedy. Lesson to be learned libtards.

Video is on Fox News - Jersey City.
She helps him up off the sidewalk and they both
run off, him in the lead, and her behind (closest to
shooters). There was no dragging. They would both
be dead if the evacuation was that slow. In effect, she
provided cover for him by running behind him.

This (male) cop was down and sort of dazed after
being shot. Do I stay and play dead, or do I run?
When you're hit you get confused. Sergeant rushed in
to evaluate downed officer and determined escape from
scene was best option.

Would Kidney Bean / Kidney Joke had did this when he was a SGT or LT? My guess is “null”... prolly would had review what would have occurred and check for deficiencies in uniform or equipment (this is what he said he did for JVD) and later on said he was not at the there (what he said the second round in JVD case.

Hmm the harm that rightful convictions caused? What next lawsuits for wrongful prosecutions? Right is wrong, wrong is now right it’s biblical end time prophecy! Kim obviously values the criminal over innocent, only in the most corrupt city state county in the entire country, we make middle eastern corruption bananas republic look like beacon of truth and justice! No wonder so many are fleeing, and Jan 2020 with powerful weed legal golly gee whiz what can go wrong? This is awesome! Thank you for your service Sgt. Years ago I could name 20 CPD supervisors off the top of my head that I had totally confidence in. Officers knew we were in good hands when certain supervisors arrived on scene or was listed on the worksheets. Officers could almost tell their supervisors that they committed a murder and the supervisor would be willing to help them with the paper and bury the body. Point being you were in good hands. Today I struggle with naming one who has good report writing skills, leadership abilities, a sound personal life, experience working the street and who has balls. Unfortunately this department is mostly filled with low level, catty, bitter, incompetent, paranoid, meritoriously promoted, ass kissing, uninspired, low self- esteem having crybabies.

As for SpecialEd, his limited time in Patrol activities had shown he had tremendous difficulties flipping over the carbon paper on the old GOCR’s. He was strictly a one-page, three sentence, preliminary investigator whose reports always contained multiple grammatical errors.

This was all done by some small, but extremely disruptive cult - it attracts basic loser, urban thugs and tries to give them some religious backing to make them great, some lost tribe of the Bible and justify their homicidal hatred of mainstream America. So many of these cults were active in the early 1970s - Barack Obamas mentor Black Liberation Theology Rev. Jeremiah Wright was one of these, so was Jim Jones Indianapolis turned LA/San Francisco - Jamestown Guyana mass murder/suicide cult.

After a while it gets old just being an urban street gang member or a wealthy Gangster Rap Music star - these types want something more, some affirmation that they are great/Chosen and the people they have always envied and hated - middle Class White Conservatives, traditional Christians Republicans are somehow the Devil, kaffirs, infidels. Also seeing a lot of rich New Yawk and LA Libs doing virtue signaling that they are on the side of ... the masses, the oppressed, the undocumented (illegal alien invaders) even on the side of Islamists that are slaughtering folks on London Bridge and at US air force bases in Florida.

It's an election year, get ready for these types to call attention to themselves wherever a TV camera might come by.

Ive never smoked weed so I don’t need an expungement, the reason is simple. The government declared it illegal. The parents that raised me and the community I grew up in demanded respect for and compliance with the law. The “social contract” is a very simple concept. Government makes laws and, until determined to be unconstitutional one is obligated to obey otherwise we have chaos. Sadly, we have a States Attorney who characterizes this issue in terms of race. Unfortunately, this position has encouraged an outright disdain for law enforcement, civility and contempt for the rule of law. Worse yet, it has emboldened, shielded and perpetuated a lifestyle full of excuses and devoid of any accountability.

Reminiscing in the press about your mother smoking weed in front of you growing up Cabrini Green is not a badge of honor and shouldn’t be rationale for legalization and expungement. Our State’s Attorney may find this hard to believe but responsible parents don’t buy or smoke weed in front of their children. It’s clear that her childhood experiences and resultant personal biases interfere with her interpretation and enforcement of the law. Enough already! We get it! You’ve beaten the white guilt out of so many people you’ve gotten a law school education for nothing and parlayed it into your current spot despite having never seen the inside of 26th and Cal or having been first chair Ina prosecution (maybe that was by subconscious design given her aversion to putting bad guys in jail).

A society of laws and those who enforce them have no reason to ask for forgiveness, grovel or atone for damn thing. That was the law then and those that made a conscious effort to break the law should not in retrospect be deemed as victims

can name a few that were good Sergeants and always had the guys and gals backs in SOS. KEARNEY, KEETER, ELDRIDGE, LEE,STAS,WIBERG,TORRES, TONER,sorry I cant remember all of them but these mentioned stick out in my mind. Even if they were not your assigned Sgt. If the stuff hit the fan they were a comfort to have near. Most are retired now. Oh, i forgotMarzak, Cahill, too.

Wow nice list of Merit thieves.

Shows you really don't know what the fuck you're talking about. All great supervisors. Most were made before merit.

I just spoke with Sgt. Sam Maksymiw, Jersey City Police Dept. (JCPD) about the kosher bodega massacre of four which included the murder of JCPD Det. Joseph SEALS. If you care to contact heroine Sgt. Marjorie JORDAN, South District, (above SCC photo) you can eMail her at MJordan@NJjcps.org. and her union officials at MTorres@NJjcps.org. Their union presents JCPD awards. Our condolences to the SEALS family and the JCPD.

BTW, I see that the name of John Farrell came up in 2 previous posts. John and I go way back to 1970 at the old Area 6 at 3801 N. Damen Ave., (John in Burglary and me in Homicide) where we were at the top of the (legitimate) scantroned 1969 Detectives' Exam list. Suffice to say, Farrell is most certainly "da REAL PO-leese". Give me a call sometime, asshole. Merry Christmas, John!

While I know he's too wise to take it regardless of salary, John Farrell for the next superintendent of the CPD.

Could you imagine Hanna Tiffany and Sadia Carter doing this. I can not think of a single boss on the job now that would do this. When I worked in 005 we had a Sgt who would back us 100%. Seen him in action when a tact guy got shot, at the front of the entry team. Not sure if he retired or left for greener pastures.

G Evans did something similar when he was the 006th district tact lt some years back. Gangbanger shot through a door during a search warrant and hit two officers. While one of the thugs was reloading,a second thug told him to shoot again. Evans got in the line of fire and dragged one of the shot officers out the line of fire. I think he got hit himself. He and the other two officers received the Award of Valor and Blue star.

Well, anyone who has been fired for any other force incident has an AMAZING lawsuit now that they’ve set the standard for unjustified force incidents. Let the lawsuits fly, the brass bleed, and Charlie you can see the problem here. Sounds like an amazing opportunity to prove your worth to the working men and women in this department. You cannot fire anyone for any force incident unless you drop the hammer on this guy. That is, if you actually care.

He’s a great guy and wish he would be the next superintendent, but that won’t happen, worked for his dad Lt Barney Farrell ages ago in 020 and he was just like his son. A stand up guy

Jersey City is right across the Hudson River from Lower Manhattan where the Twin Towers once stood only a mile away. Sgt. Jordan should receive the JCPD's highest awards for her courage. May Det. Joseph Seals and the other victims rest in peace.

Full props to Off. Kerik who "neutralized" the two terrorist murderers. May they burn in hell.

Amazing that just doing one's job is now celebrated. She did the right thing, of course, and should get whatever cheap tin and ribbons that their department gives out. But it amazes that sitting under cover and watching your mates deal with carnage is considered acceptable in the modern world. In the sandbox there were plenty of times where one would have to leave cover to grab the scruff of a buddy's LCE and drag what's left of him to shelter and medevac. No one gets medals usually, unless it was completely off the hook, or the inbed and inbred reporter was on site. Maybe our 'commanders', that like to strut like peacocks and wear more brass than a African dictator should be selected from those that have actually been under fire, and been found satisfactory, instead of getting 'merit an sheeit'. 4 stars and a bj in the company car aren't what leadership is about, at least if the troops are to be lead from the front. Put the stars on those that have been there and done that. Give merit just like battlefield promotions, to those that actually have gone above and beyond, like this Sgt.
