Irving Park Road Again
Someone really ought to run some missions or start some foot patrol or something for this obviously dangerous street:
- An employee was shot and wounded Monday morning during an attempted robbery at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Dunning on the Northwest Side.
A gunman walked into the business about 7:25 a.m. in the 7500 block of West Irving Park Road and demanded money from the front register, Chicago police said. A law enforcement source said it was a 7-Eleven.
He shot an employee in his torso and left without taking any money, police said. The gunman wore a hooded sweatshirt with “space” written on the front.
It's still a shame that technology doesn't allow the Department to give the media descriptions of the offender that might possibly protect other members of the public. Maybe someday soon?

What’s going on? World war 2 British SAS shot a man during driving yesterday... a Ukrainian World War 2 partisan shoots man at 7-11 today... honestly if there is no description of the person who is honestly committing crimes of economics; I say the description has be European and of the WW2 Era.
Almost forgot— the one from yesterday on channel 7 involving an attempted rape of a woman (biologically female, no magic stuff) left no description of said person where or not if they had a gender or even conformed to one or two or the other 80+. Prolly identified as a WW2 Polish POW (gender unknown)
I’ve been in that 7-11, and they have great, clear video in that place.
The motive for these crimes is essential violent hate - the money is almost an excuse.

I was driving through the area of Oak Park and Irving, I had to do errands, after looking around at buildings and community I could only think that “we are so fucked” and it’s a shame the general population has no concept of how we got here. Unfortunately we know how we got here.

Irving park road has turned into hell's highway. Send in the delta force, send in the marines, open up 100 bid spots so they actually have some manpower in 016. On a side note, excellent job by male dispatcher on zone 1 when everything stepped off at gunnison/moody yesterday.

Right before the 7-11 robbery someone tripped the alarm of the nearby Wendy's on Harlem. Then later in the morning a 90 year old on 3700 N. Oketo (a block from Ald. Spozo's office on Harlem) was broken onto by two gypsies. And, last the car jacking in Jeff park.

When going to this location, walk across the street into Norridge and call the police, they have more cars on the street than the entire 16th district.
It’s what the Area calls an Emerging Pattern. A feral pack of corner store robbers was recently nabbed, affordably bonded, awaiting CookCo pleas down offers, just doing what they’re doing because it’s a KrazyKimmm CookCo acceptable alternative justice initiative.

I think Milwaukee Ave will become another sanctuary freeway like Irving’s Rt 19 once those two legal weed dispensaries open up on 4800 and 6400 North.
And to make matters even worse, 016 just ain’t got nowhere near enough Beat Polices to be on “heightened alert”.
That used to be such a nice area.
It’s only by the grace of the Creator that any one of us or our loved ones aren’t crime victims in these god forsaken blighted commie run areas. And the odds of becoming a crime victim are becoming substantially lower on a daily basis.
Classic case of the results from redeploying officers to the Wesss Side and Souff. I saw a bucket boy last week on the corner of Irving and Harlem. The traffic beggars have also multiplied on these corners. A clear sign things are changing rapidly. The 16 and 17th District citizens should be furious and blasting the Alderman's offices none stop. Why are officers redeployed (taken away) from citizens that deserve at least the same protection others are getting. Most citizens pay high taxes for this service where the others do not. I encourage every officers family living in the 16th and 17th Dist to start making noise...we all know that's what other citizens do to get what they want.

That's the "big" dividing line...what was/is the other dividing line? (as in quiet June weekends as opposed to loud June weekends, gentrification leakage from Humboldt)
Irving Park Rd also known as route 19 has easy access to the Kennedy expressway to the east and to the suburbs on the west.
I live in a city where 99.9% of the people are white. I left shit Chicago 23 years ago, I never visit anymore not even to see my grandchildren who live in Orland Park. Anyone with a brain will get out of there as soon as they can.

I find it interesting that there seems to be correlation between the uptick in crime in 016 and our new neighbors compliments of the FHA/CHA Section 8 Voucher program. maybe it's just me.

Then 36th ward superintendent gets a handicap parking ticket that is fixed by Cook County Commissioner Luis Arroyo Jr. The ticket was issued near the 36th Ward annual picnic hosted by Ald. Gilbert Arroyo (Lightfoot's floor leader) in Schiller Woods. Big todo went away with the head of the Cook County Forest Preserve resigning. No re-issuing of the ticket after an investigation.
Ok yeah. The politician crying racism at the hillbilly was Luis Arroyo Sr father of Jr. that took bribes for one arm bandit legislation and then resigned as 36th Ward Committeman and seemingly is headed to the suburban Shawsank ..
Even with former Ald Wiliam JP Banks and his late former driver/successor John Rice both gone, the 36th Ward still is more crooked than Milwaukee Ave.
Both Arroyos never graduated from Clemente (Tuley) or Steinmetz as both tell people as each were given no show GEDs as some sham high school in the Humboldt Park area..

Unfortunately those of you on the North side are being "compressed" by the element till the City workers have little space to safely live in. This happened on the South side and has left us with Mt Greenwood (and to a lesser extent West Beverly and the far west end of 008). We finally got sick of moving and had to fight back. That is why we have the erroneous reputation of being racist because we care about our neighborhood and will fight back. We overwhelmed the protesters 10 to 1 when they tried to take over our neighborhood during the Joshua Beals BS. Unfortunately history repeats itself. Its your turn, please stand up for yourselves.

Glad I bought in Edison park and paid a little extra for my home..too much stuff creeping up and down Harlem down there.... All I hear is new guys OTJ say how big of a house they got in that area for a good price, there is your trade off.

Irving Park Road has become Hadrian’s Wall. The edge of the Empire. The barbarians are trying to cross. And certain politicians see it as their duty to ensure that wall is breached.
There are three reasons Irving Park will not get the services it needs:
Not enough minorities.
Not enough members of the LSMFTOU812 community.
Not enough illegal aliens.
At least not yet......
