Was he qualified to be Superintendent? Maybe he took the job just to keep CPD going? Was he the Best Boss? The worse?
It doesn't matter anymore. It will be interesting to see if this new guy is any good or just another political lap do.
This city is hurting and it needs REAL police and not liberal appeasers.

REPLACE Kim Foxx with a REAL attorney. Back someone else and get them in. Make the State's Attorney's office more effective and professional.

The good news is that Eddie moved to Indiana just over the boarder yesterday, cut his property taxes by 80%, joined a gym, and got back on his program to lose weight.

First picture I've seen of Eddie Johnson, so let me get this straight.
He was supposedly drinking in a bar downtown. Okay, he looks like a guy who can put them away. But he was also supposedly sucking face with some woman.
Really? Pretty horrifying for the gal to see that face bearing down on her.

The property taxes in Olympia Fields on a $300,000 are like $15,000 per year. The taxes on these hones are about the same as the principal, interest and insurance portion of the mortgage, Also, you think that state tax free pension will remain tax free? You think that someone that makes around $100k per year here in earnings or pension won't be on Illinois new planned progressive income tax that completely abuses all you rich cops, firefighters and teachers and retirees of the same ilk? You need another single malt or whatever the hell you're drinking and a conversation with someone here that sees whats going on in this country, these states, counties and cities. There is an economic meltdown coming in 20 years or less. Social Security is already saying that a 20% cut is in the cards in 2032. Our pension cut will arrive prior to that and with these low interest rates we have, all pensions are distressed, they can't make any money on their investments so they'll all going to go bust. You're going to pay more in and get less out. The current system won't survive the way it's set up. Better save those pennies boys and girls, you're going to need them. Until the federal government decides to give you an "guaranteed federal annuity" for seizing your personal retirement IRA and Def Comp savings. That's been a whisper in Congress for years already.
Make a plan and work it, you're going to need it.
