Absolutely, Lets start with A certain Capt, making over 500 hrs. of overtime (changing A&A's and denying P.O.'s overtime, after they do overtime), acting like swiping IS connected to payroll (which it IS NOT) & also taking home a NEW LPR MARKED squad home everyday!!.....then lets go on to another Sgt's team that's ONLY allowed to do overtime...lets call it the 1985 team, then there is the old GHOST car called 1980V that's never on the sheets, they make up their own schedule, like the times they work (and don't work). Numerous grievances have been filed against our "G.O. abiding Cpt...and a lot more to come...stay tuned!!!! This idiot is running morale into the ground here. Now, let me go back to patrolling...I mean sleep.

Let us begin at the beginning...
Overtime in 019 for the entertainment zones (Clark St and Halsted) usually had a constant foot patrol (on ATV). They augmented this with off duty tact teams on the weekends. Special events would call up some on duty teams from other districts. They along came Kane. He took the bike team approach and managed to end the practice of ‘outside units’ to consolidate his control of OT. Then he expanded this to include the CUBS team. Then the OT was extension of tour to 3rd and 1st watch. He grabbed a wagon and slapped a “Command Van” stencil on the side. He recruited Buslik’s mustachioed Sgt as his mini-me and biked his domain. As soon as Buslik retired he saw an opportunity. Then he went Full Potato. He stripped all overtime from the watches including basic staffing and supervision. We were running with one street Sgt and one at Belmont and Western (no DSS on Addison). Cars were downed, but the newly created 5th watch rose to power. The Command Van dollies were given unlimited OT. They each earned over $100K in OT alone before October. Who was there to monitor the Captain...Papaioannou. A newly minted commander who was a merit Sgt three years before. Known for his lack of temper control and being dumb as a box of rock, he was unable to bring Kane to heel. Then Kane decided to arbitrarily change the start times of the watches. Kane was coming in on his days off for OT which HE APPROVED. HELLO ETHICS TRAINING. Then he suggested that all other supervisors (not associated with his 5th watch should change their days off in lieu of working on their days off to cover shortages to avoid premium pay. I think the last straw was that 5th watch picked furloughs amongst themselves (contract violation except CCG). I could go on, but why?! All of the supervisors and POs (with over a minute on) ON 5TH WATCH knew they were WRONG. THIS IS CRONYISM, THEFT AND FUCK THE OTHER OFFICERS AND THE CITY.
Popcorn is ready, not just that but never forget that the mayor has federal connections this could go federal because a lot of the overtime money is given to us by the feds enjoy the ride Jager off’s for ruining it for everyone else! But then again there is a democratic way lie cheat and steal but now you’re quiet what are you gonna do who you gonna call?

The Capt and the bike teams are all there when they’re supposed to be and their OT is all approved and legit. Every weekend there’s an opportunity to work OT open to everyone. Sgt JA may be a smart guy, but for a regular desk Sgt in 19, he sure thinks his world is terrible.

And when I say unrealistic I mean to the tune of over 100K each. So where does the captain who signed off on this fall into place? Well he too makes an unrealistic amount of overtime! Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. This isnt only lose your job and pension, your talking about prison cells!

Walsh security??? What a joke. A little conflict of interest maybe? Who knows but it wouldn’t be very hard for any investigative body to walk up and down halsted and talk to the businesses there.
I’m trying to figure out why a very highly paid captain with a company car is making any overtime at all??? He’s upper management. The Lts and Sgt’s are the ones supervising the daily patrol activities. What is the captain getting paid OT for?
First, CAPS is the ultimate scam spot. That’s why people want it. Second, CAPS should never make overtime. They constantly adjust their hours if they need to be at home for personal matters that way they don’t burn their time. But when the district needs them to do something related to their duties, suddenly they are unable to adjust their hours to do the job and the city pays them overtime. How convenient.

How do 2 people bid for the 2nd watch...and are seen mostly working other watches which include Cubs Games in the summer time, then the entertainment detail which is overnights on clark and halsted streets..so again if you are bid to second watch and are mostly working hours wayyy outside your watch start times then your making a lot of overtime..thieves!!! Suggestion...go to 4th watch and then work all the different hours you want...assholes.

At compstat a few weeks back cmdr introduced his "new" staff. After he was done boss in the back said to another "he acted like he was introducing the dream team, but he couldn't answer crap and they were as clueless as him".
Papaioannou took credit from 007 district cops who saved a Sgt life who was having a heart attack. He wasn’t even there until it was almost over, took credit, threw out the first pitch at sox game and quickly made Merit again. Just the fake news needed to push this clouted fool up the merit ladder. Nevermind he did nothing and showed up at the end of the event he rode that event for more clout. He has no shame claiming to do Chest compressions and cpr. Sadly many of us were there and helped the Sgt and got zero credit. Never wanted it or cared bc we did what was right and saved a life. Sgt JA has sent other anonymous letters concerning others OT. In fact that is why he was dumped as a mission sgt in a westside district.
So JO and BS get all overtime for writing tows on Clark and Halsted. Guess what watch did that before on regular time, but Kane made it look like it was never done before hahaha. His smart idea 😂😂😂
Ohh hold on I forgot they got 4 hrs OT every day to fill snacks in the bike room and put ticket books for bike officers. Got overtime to clean up the gym too hahaha

What about furloughs for 5th watch that should even exists. When the watch bids were posted all Officers working “ non existent 5th watch “ were put on 1st 2nd and 3rd watch. But they never picked fourlough with the watches they picked on their own. Hmmm ...
also majority Officers on the 5th watch were put on that watch by Capt Kane while there were still probation. So we had PPO’s working “ non existent 5th watch “. What was this guy thinking ? Ohh he’s too arrogant to think and he’s famous saying is “ Let them grieve it “ like when he demanded P Days for PO’s taking off on some holidays and special events happening. PO’s grieved it to Management and Labor Affairs and got their P Days back. And even after that Commander still trusted him ?? Hahahahha

JA is the most egotistical self-absorbed clown we've ever met. He will brag about everything about himself, conceited 24/7. We don't really wanna hear how good of a chef he is or how he cuts wood in his tool shop. We don't care.Even J.C. who left last year to go to 20 even talked big smack about him rolling his eyes when he would hear him brag about himself non-stop. JA may be egotistical but he’s extremely knowledgeable and effective. If JC talked about JA a little behind his back, it was nothing compared to the praise JC publicly stated about JA prior to transferring. JC was very clear about the efficiency of JA making it almost unnecessary to have a Lieutenant. As to JA’s cooking, I didn’t see anyone turning down his samples when he was nice enough to bring them to the station. And finally, JA isn’t rejecting 99.9% of my reports because I know how to write them correctly the first time. If your rejection rate is that high the problem is your inability to do your job, not your supervisor’s correction of your mistakes.
How about the tact officer in 019 that got in trouble for firing his gun in a strip club. He got bounced from the tact team in 011 now he is on tact in 019. What a joke the guy is gonna get someone fired

What about furloughs for 5th watch that should even exists. When the watch bids were posted all Officers working “ non existent 5th watch “ were put on 1st 2nd and 3rd watch. But they never picked fourlough with the watches they picked on their own. Hmmm ...
also majority Officers on the 5th watch were put on that watch by Capt Kane while there were still probation. So we had PPO’s working “ non existent 5th watch “. What was this guy thinking ? Ohh he’s too arrogant to think and he’s famous saying is “ Let them grieve it “ like when he demanded P Days for PO’s taking off on some holidays and special events happening. PO’s grieved it to Management and Labor Affairs and got their P Days back. And even after that Commander still trusted him ?? Hahahahha
Does Papa realizes that Kane wanted his job in the first place and he wanted him to fail ?
We all saw Kane so sad like little puppy with his head down when he didn’t get promoted to Commander and Papa came to 019 ...

Commander P of 19 is a muscle clown idiot! He should be teaching at the academy gym so he can look at himself in the mirror and flex for the class.....whoaaaa! Go love yourself.
How about the former DUI instructor in the academy, now a tact guy in 019? He slept with his recruit in the academy but was rewarded a seat by cheating Commander Papa....
