Attention Desk Sergeants
Have you been having trouble getting prisoners over to County lately? Here's why:
- One of my bosses is a big pussy, who is attempting to impress his side piece girlfriend who also works in Receiving (she is a “merit” Lieutenant). The new thing he’s doing to flex and show off for his side piece is sending back dope sick junkies, who say they can’t make it to court and need medical treatment.
This is in spite of your transport officers arriving with medical clearance from various hospitals. This has been going on for a couple weeks now. We were hoping it would die down. But it’s not as of now. Just a heads up, and apology from the line staff at the jail. It’s really embarrassing for us.
So someone on our end needs to notify the Chief Judge that prisoners aren't making bond hearings in a timely manner due to this piss-ant showing off for his knob-polisher. If the sheriff who contacted us would like to send us his name, we'll make sure it gets play here.

This is true they are claiming it is a New Policy but refuse to provide any written documentation of this policy
Juvenile Detention pulls that $hit all the time. A kid, (Arrestee), is brought with hospital clearance papers to 1100 Hamilton and they are refused because the kid didnt get checked out at cook county hospital. So we (taxpayers) have to pay double for a kid to get cleared because of some low level intake jag.
According to one kick back, it was a “New Policy” at county. But no written order.
Do you really thinks the Chief Judge gives a shot. Wake up it is all a Kubuki play. Your just the main puppets in the play. Smoke and mirrors Chicago Justice system.
This is true guys. I'm a DSS and this is B.S., we've been arguing with the Sheriff for two weeks. I understand if there isn't a medical clearance and the Arrestee claims he's dope sick once he reaches County and then he's being refused.
This is different the Arrestee is cleared from a local hospital and they are still being refused by County. This causes many problems. Because of the refusal that means we now need to seek a duty judge or it my also turn into Mittimus. This is tying up officers on another hospital run and another courts run for the same Arrestee.
Also their is some more B.S. going on with duty procedures. Theres no consistency on how to hand the process as of lately. There was a step by step plan in the past, but something must of happened in the last 30 days that things have come off track.
Fuck Cook County.
There was something about this in the C.O. book
I thought County Jail had Cermak Hospital.
When the duty judge figures out why he’s having to deal with this bs everyday the “policy” will change. I like how some intake supervisor’s visual check of a prisoner’s health outweighs a doctors medical clearance!
Well just heard at roll call that a juvenile mentally challenged youth have to go to Garfield hospital about a 45 minute drive from the north side district because lakeshore isn’t taking our mental youngsters no more.. interesting when your on a job for 3 hours with a mental kid.. unbelievable..
Happened to me as well, brought a prisoner straight from the hospital to county and after a 50 minute deliberation between the sergeant and lieutenant, our prisoner was kindly accepted so that he can attend bond court. It too all of 50 minutes to figure it out, eventhough the prisoner in front of everyone stated , I'm just gonna keep doing what I gotta do to not go to court. What a fucking mess down there at instate. Other than that, everyone else is pretty cool . Fuck You tho DART.
Gangs have infiltrated all levels of the department. Sorry, tough to hear, but its become apparent. The side piece mentioned might be a side piece for the cop, but she's all in on her gangland guy, she's just turning tricks for him..
They all made it clear , they don't want or expect any arrests. Fetal
This has been going on forever in the burbs. "Any one have a belly ache?" "anyone got the sniffles?" "anyone sick? cant make it through court?" "you look like you're sick" County sends them back for ANYTHING.
And above all else, remember to vote democrat and keep electing these mutts.

They are correct, If you read the directives juveniles are required to be checked out by cook county hospital.
Seen these instances before. Sour and bitter mister man probably had a friend or relatives locked up with the flu and had to wait to be bonded before going to the clinic on their own time, on the CTA, in the cold and no ride back.
Bring those detainees back to the District, if enough Sgts call on the CC turnkey you can bet Lil’ KmmmFxxx2020 will put a case on him/ press charges with an Obstruction of Restorative Justice...
or implement a new CookCo Express Bond Court System giving the desk Sgt full Affordable Bond authority.
And the wagon transport is sitting in the hospital all day. I remember 26/California, 001,11th/state and especially juvenile detention being royal jags at intake...
Just had this happen the other day dropping off a female at Central D. The lockup keepers will make a judgement on the offender once you step into the bullpen. They wont even ask them the normal questions, they will just look at them and deem them to be a drug user. They will then make you go to Mercy and get them a medical clearance so that they can sit in lock up and go to court the next day. They sent this prisoner to the hospital for methadone and the hospital does not give out that medication there. So after 3 hours at Mercy we bring her back and nothing has changed, she just has a note from a doctor now saying she can be arrested basically. They also told me that if your prisoner has any piercings that can not be removed, that they will make you go to the hospital and get them removed before they will accept them at Central D. No written information on this or anything in the CO book. Just found out with no proof of paper work while dropping the offender off.
It’s not the supervisors call. It’s one of the 150 directors that came up with this idea. This will continue until either the duty judge gets sick of dealing with this our when some attorney gets wind that the jail is violating the prisoners right to a bond hearing( due process) and files a lawsuit.
Howe about stopping locking up the senior citizen hype for .1 grams of dust and wasting time resources and energy. Come on your CD in a unmarked car .. try a little harder than grabbing the obvious.
Oh wait you have 2 years on and dont know how to really look and find anything other than grandpa stumbling down the street with jewel bag wrapped around his bicycle seat.
But hey your beards are looking nice and thick.
"Our standing orders regarding prisoners dealing heroine withdrawal....If medical clearance is not with that prisoner.....I'm working on getting that directive in writing.....Sgt. Hemphill #3219..."
UMMMM---heroine withdrawal, what is that-- no more wonder woman--no more mama?

Not correct ---
Right from the order:
Department members should use Cook County Hospital facilities; however, a medical clearance from any approved hospital, as listed in the current directive entitled "Approved Medical Facilities," will suffice. The medical clearance will be obtained from the attending physician.

Oh it gets better. They made drug addictions a "disease" so now these assholes will get to sit on their ass's all their lives collecting SSI and getting free transport to and from addiction centers which will keep them well supplied with Methadone, all paid for by the tax payer. And in between they will still occasionally Jab because, "hey I'm just sick", and the programs wont kick them out cause they are cash on the hoof.
Nor do they force them to lower their dosage and actually get cured, actually they do the opposite. You can't make money off them if you cure them.
And who owns the clinics? First Big Pharma and the Doctors make a bunch of abusers with their pills and then they come to the rescue and all buy treatment centers and pass out methadone. Meanwhile coppers are getting shot and hurt with all this drug shit going on here in GangsterLand.
The drug war was Legit as Vietnam was guys so dont get yourselves hurt or jammed over it. If these assholes want to poison themselves with this crap then who cares?
I used to have it out with the jerks at intake at 51st street. Once they refused a prisoner for period cramps. Next time this happens, refuse to take the sick or alleged injured prisoner back. Call for an ambulance. After all they have the medical training to deal with the suffering .

Sorry you never took time to read an order. Read and follow Special Order S06-01-01, and Special Order S06-01-02. Rejecting them for a medical attention is not by whim or fancy. We at Central D have been sued for not providing medical care in the past. Heroin withdrawal is a medically treatable condition.
All your complaints regarding "piercings"/prisoner jewelry can be addressed through Special Order S07-01-01. Cook County Jail intake aka "The Bridge" knows the orders better than you. They will reject prisoners with embedded jewelry unless there's a Dr's note stating that it cannot be removed. When removed, inventory the items properly. There are signs posted at the intake door to refresh your memory.
Sorry you haven't had to deal with fabulous folks at County like we have on a regular basis. The folks at the door there are doing only what they're told. They don't want any headaches from their bosses either. Treat them well and they treat you well.
Any questions just ask for the 3rd Watch fat jagoff Sgt at Central D. He'll be sure to give you a signed medical clearance half sheet with his signature and an affable smile.

They do.
SEIU staff.
Real simple, stop cooperating and giving courtesy to the Sheriffs and this will be cleared up real fast. Every now and then the air needs to be cleared....
The other problem is the Rap Sheet. When you send a prisoner to court for bond hearing and the arrestee has 130 + Arrests why on earth would you print the entire rap sheet? Our GO states that only the last 10 pages of the rap sheet is required but the County is refusing prisoners because we aren’t sending a rap sheet that’s thicker than a phone book with the arrestee for a BS Bail Bond Violation... we have to start returning the favor to the County guys, no courtesy or cooperation until things get straightened out.
Cook County SD is fucked up. The higher ups are screwing around again and refusing to accept arrests from local PD's, probably to keep their numbers down- but making a huge fucking mess in the process of NOT doing their job.

Retired 13 years now and 30 years ago, SSI was being handed out to in shape 20 yoa dudes, for being alcohol or drug dependent, as a medical reason.

WOW! So other deputies have to suffer the "wrath" of our "fellow brethren" because of some crosseyed assclown who can't supervise his way out of a paper bag and kissed so much ass to get a Director badge?
Is this the same Lt. that looks like she has a touch of down syndrome? Screaming and cursing and pulling her wig off when she doesn't get her way?
