Shooting Victims Home
So the shooting in 011 the other day, five persons got shot. Two of the kids headed home:
- Two young brothers wounded in a shooting last week at an East Garfield Park barbershop have been released from the hospital.
Lorenzo Matthews, 11, and his brother, 12-year-old Michael Smith, were released Saturday from Stroger Hospital, according to family spokeswoman Dawn Valenti.
The Sun Times even included a nice photograph of the young scamps:

Please have your facts straight before making comments. For the last 5 plus years Bella has worked for a simple hourly rate to complete his duties as Recording Secretary. Election to that or any other office does not guarantee ANYONE a spot as a field rep working daily at the lodge. He willingly passed up that offer and that's how Bartlett got up there, when Kevin named him to fill the 6th vacancy. Then he immediately thanked Graham by betraying him and aligning himself with the current opposition this election. That caused nothing but in-fighting, back stabbing, closed doors and talking behind each others backs.
Kevin's promise to bring up the elected people along with Bartlett and keep them up their not only highlighted his ineffectiveness and awareness as a leader but their true colors as they plotted their overthrown from day 1. The members pay the price yet again for personal agendas. The media, once again purposely (and literally as well) ignores the big picture. Get it? Because the "big picture" shows them flashing gang signs? ...oh forget it...
The gang banging kids were acting like adults (e.g. flashing gang signs). Thus, they were treated like adults (e.g. were shot at). Mom should be pleased that the kids reaped what they sowed.
Wait this is great! So now it’s alleged a PO started the GoFundMe for these two?! Guess were looking at Groots new CPD recruits.

How was a PO allowed to setup a GoFund Me for these kids? I was under the impression that PO's weren't allowed to do that but I may be misinformed. Even if so, the department will allow him to set up a fundraiser for people/victims that are flashing gang signs in pictures on social media?
I really thought the un-cropped photo would show the lil' darlings holding guns.
Did Fox32 mention that the photo was edited? If not, seems like a libel suit, but not sure who would file it.

Actually under City of Chicago personnel rules, starting a fund raiser without the permission of your department head is a violation and actionable under the step discipline process.
