- CBS 2 investigative reporter Dave Savini, 52, allegedly harassed a woman with “obscene” texts and Facebook messages over a year’s time, according to a Chicago Police case incident report obtained by Chicago City Wire.
Flight attendant and author Kathy Browne, 50, told police in July 2016 about a series of messages she had been receiving from Savini – in one he allegedly asked Browne if she wanted a “picture of his penis.”
“She stated this in an ongoing problem for a about a year and asked Dave Savini to stop contacting her,” the police report said.
Browne told Chicago City Wire that she also contacted CBS 2 about the matter.
But SeeBS, especially on the national level, has a history of looking the other way when women are harassed. Why should the local affiliate feel any pressure to correct aberrant behavior by a pervert? Maybe Dave can get together with Special Ed and compare pick-up methods.

The volley between two of Chicago Fox 32 news anchor Rafer Weigel’s ex-girlfriends continued this week over a protective order sought and received by a Valparaiso woman against Kathy Browne, who was charged with allegedly downloading compromising pictures of the Valparaiso woman off of Weigel’s phone and sending them back to her.
Weigel, 50, who was suspended from his job late last month and has not been charged with a crime, is not directly involved in the matter over the protective order between the two women, though the Valparaiso woman successfully asked for and received a protective order against him in Porter Circuit Court earlier this month. He has one against her in Cook County, Illinois, as well.
The Post-Tribune is not naming the Valparaiso woman because she is the alleged victim of revenge porn when, according to court documents, Browne, Weigel’s ex-girlfriend, accessed compromising pictures of the woman from his phone and emailed them back to her.
Browne, 50, of Richmond, Virginia, was charged in late September with a misdemeanor count of distribution of an intimate image in the criminal case.
The Valparaiso woman asked for and received a protective order against Browne in September. The order was made permanent for two years after an Oct. 17 hearing.
All of the protective orders refer to allegations of harassment at some level. Court testimony in the lengthy hearing for the protective order against Weigel provided the details of a soured relationship between the Valparaiso woman and him, including the texting of nude photos, sexually explicit texts before a meet-up at a Chesterton hotel, expletive-filled voicemail messages and angry emails.
Browne allegedly found the pictures of the woman on Weigel’s phone and sent them back to the woman and threatened to send them to her children’s school. The woman later went to the Valparaiso police with Hearn, setting off the criminal charge against Browne.

Synopsis of a little misunderstanding.
He was showing off his autographed Durocher souvenir baseball on a flight back from Cooperstown.
He was passing around his baseball, it bobbled, it fell and rolled away (in Cubs playoff fashion) down the aisle into economy class.
So he got up looking and asking everyone including the flight staff if they seen it.
Only thing is none of the other passengers were sports fans and didn’t know what he was talking about until he was told by another soused passenger that they don’t call it a baseball on aircraft for security reasons and was corrected.
So he started to ask everyone; “Have you seen my wiener?”
Using his background in investigation, the only person who may found and kept it for safe keeping would be the flight attendant that was the last one still on the plane after everyone disembarked.
So he had a selfie of himself holding it before it was lost as was merely trying to show it to her for identification purposes and to refresh her memory. No harm, no foul balls.
He just wanted his baseball back.
All was is just a “little” misunderstanding.
