So Dart has been releasing everyone. In fact, he's released so many, he doesn't even know who's in and who's out, so he's ordered his staff to conceal all info:
- Cook County [Jail] released hundreds of inmates from its jails during the coronavirus crisis. But good luck trying to find out who is back on the streets or what crimes they are accused of committing. The prosecutors and public defenders, who handle the cases in special COVID-19 court hearings, keep a close hold on the information and refuse to share it with the public or other law enforcement agencies.
The Cook County Sheriff’s Office that runs the jail says it doesn’t know who was released because of the coronavirus.
Even the Chicago Police Department says it’s in the dark about inmates who have been released. “The greatest fear people have is the fear of the unknown,” Kevin Graham, president of the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police, told The Washington Times. “We don’t know what is occurring, we don’t know why people are being released, we don’t know their offenses, and we don’t know if these people pose a danger to society.”
We've seen different reports that say gun offenders and rapists are among the released. A detective friend tells us that two released inmates have already contributed to the Chicago murder count....as victims of homicides. We guess that's a win-win, but how much money is Dart going to waste trying to track down two assholes cooling in the morgue?

OT- has anyone seen the video of the officer inside the jail get pounded on by two pos inmate!? This is where having a weak sheriff and soft ass liberals running the show come into play. Back in the day (no cameras) that inmate would get a PHD, and I'm not talking about a degree here fellas. The only way those inmates should be escorted out is with a gurney, and sent to stroger. The same thing that's been happening in the jail is the same thing happening in the streets. These democrats have really created a monster!

Has anyone else noticed that NBC 5 commercials about heroes during this crisis does not show one police officer at all?? They show them during their newscasts. They show firemen, nurses, doctors, but no police. Which is fine I guess, but the group that has to handle someone’s bullshit with absolutely NO EQUIPMENT or time to put on equipment is not represented. F*CK YOU NBC 5. You only tell stories about officers if they are corrupt or they die... Liberal Chicago

Full video of the incident and homework done by CWB blog... now, why an inmate was let outside of his cell with only one guard only on the floor? that inmate was basically a wanna be cop killer. On the other side, no batton? no pepper spray? no tactics and slow backup? The guard could've been dead. That place should be on lock down 24/7 with no trips for water! Teamsters who represent guards filed brief posted on their site that claimed Dil-Dart was giving guards air temperature devices that do not work on humans that contributed to spread of virus. Also, that many guards were ordered to remove masks cause Dil-Dart thought it could alarm the inmates. Insanity!

I’m personally aware of an inmate with a background, in custody for a vehicle hijacking, who was released for coronavirus concerns.

You've heard the old adage, “Democrats of a feather scheme together!” Well today the Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva (Democrat) announced that he released 4,276 inmates which is 25% of the jail’s population of 12,000. There are only 11 inmates that checked positive for the Coronavirus. Would it make sense to release those 11 inmates instead? Now he is fearful of a surge in crime (Ya Think?). He is also at odds with the LA Board of Supervisors as they removed him as Head of Emergency Operations (in March 2020) due to his poor response to the Woolsey Fire. So are you grasping this, Democrats all over the country have been calling for, and have been releasing prisoners even before the virus hit. You guessed it, it’s a plan to cause chaos and anarchy through out the county just before the Nov elections. If you thought the virus was bad enough wait until these prisoners cause pandemonium during this health crisis. And as an added bonus the Sheriff is one of us, Chicago Proud, he was born in Chicago. And he must have gotten his childhood vaccinations from the Chicago Democrat Precinct Captain as this this is sheer left wing Democrat skullduggery.

I'm sure others have mentioned this but I just want to piggyback on this topic. A few days ago a cook county jail guard was attacked by two inmates. One of the inmates was locked up for attempt murder of a P.O which leads me to believe that this pos' actions are so brazen that he doesn't care if the jail has cameras. Why does this pos feel so ballsy?. Well let's see here, maybe because cook county has been so soft on crime, not only just crime but violent crime. So what gives? Is this the way to give back to those who have been "oppressed" by the poleece and the justice system who in the past has targeted so many people of color. Seems like years of Democratic leadership has finally paid off. This city is now crime ridden with no light at the end of the tunnel. The police are no longer law enforces, they have now become social workers and fall guy/gals for these politicians. These are some sad times and the way things are going it's only going to become worse, stay fetal and go home safe....all of those at the top could care less about those on the front lines, just remember that when you feel like you want to run and gun.

So no test is going to offer any immediate solution when an infected person comes to work without symptoms.

The taser should have been used regardless after seeing several officers hurt and struggling to gain consciousness after the impromptu early morning soap party.

When they once handed out applications for officer positions in jail they would have 20+thousand applicants. They now are actually offering supervisors free comp time if refer a hire because college educated will no longer take job.
