Consent Decree During COVID-19
The Chicago Contrarian's take on the Consent Decree and the political machinations behind it:
- With likely hundreds of millions to be raked in from the taxpayers in a purported quest to restore constitutional policing in Chicago, several recent crises are quickly revealing that the consent decree imposed upon the Chicago Police is one of the greatest frauds ever perpetuated on the city.
And it’s about time those who created it and oversee it, like court-appointed special monitor, Maggie Hickey, be held accountable.
Even in its gestation, anyone with any political sensibility could see the move to impose a consent decree on Chicago had nothing to do with the Constitution and everything to do with the politicization of the Justice Department under President Obama and his lackey attorney generals. As the DOJ under Obama announced an investigation into the police on the claim that officers regularly violate constitutional rights, the report revealed no methodology or serious statistic gathering, just the usual collection of arbitrary numbers and anecdotes manipulated to claim the police are racist because they are more active in certain minority communities than others.
The report conveniently left out the crucial fact that the increased police presence was a response to increased violent crime. Rather than conduct a fair, circumspect investigation, the DOJ report employed the race card that has become the sole bargaining chip of the political left, particularly Obama’s administration.

The Obama presidency was one of the worst, most corrupt administrations in the history of the USA, but you'll never see that printed anywhere because it must be racist to say so! They sicced the damned doj and fbi on the public. The hit the FBI took will take generations to correct. Now, the average citizen has the same opinion of the FBI that the Chicago Police officer has. The FBI (Famous But Incompetent) is the biggest fraud since its beginning.
Cherry picks it cases. How hard is it to solve a bank robbery? Robbery dicks solve robberies everyday.
If any police department had half the resources of the FBI, then there would be few murders unsolved. When's the last time you saw someone go to prison for lying to you?
Their crime lab is a joke. Ask the people in jail based on bite evidence? How about where they claimed to be able to match the lead taken out of the body to the box of bullets in someone's closet? Now we are finding that their clothing match system is not anywhere as reliable as they claim.

and procedures are directed there to attempt to reduce said statistics.

And IF those “certain areas” contain primarily neighborhoods of “color”,
one could reasonably expect that you will not be stopping-ticketing-enforcing
on Hawaiians, Asians, Caucasians, American Indians,, or Little Green Men.

She is not following consent decree , not enough supervisors , incompetent commander staff , flooding black neighborhoods with police patrols . Then chance the pooper blames police , it's Lori and Texas brown and the merit black commanders that came up with these plans . No OT for detectives to solve murders , rapes of citizens , cancel days off , holidays at triple time to suppress black people from shooting each other , drinking , doing drugs on he streets of englewood , Austin , Fillmore .

In a letter delivered Saturday, May 23, Chicago Health Commissioner Allison Arwady wrote: "I am authorized to seek to enjoin such nuisance or to cause the same to be summarily abated in such manner as I may direct…." The letter ended by stating that "the City will take steps necessary to abate, including Summary Abatement."
According to the Illinois Supreme Court, "Summary abatement would mean to put down or destroy without process. This means the inspector can, upon his own judgment, cause the alleged nuisance to stop on his own authority and effect a destruction of property at his discretion." City of Kankakee v. New York Cent. R. Co., 387 Ill. 109, 116, 55 N.E.2d 87, 90 (1944).
In other words, by claiming "summary abatement" status, the City of Chicago is now actively threatening to physically tear down these churches!
