So if they want any money to spend, they need to get our economy going again.

I went to Kenosha Wisconsin over the weekend. I ate at a restaurant, walked along the lakefront, stayed at a hotel, and filled up on gas that is still well below $2.00/g. And with Illinois on a doomsday lockdown, there was no traffic at all! I enjoyed it so much, I will be doing it again. This time I will plan so I can do my grocery shopping, and get all the supplies from Menards for a few landscaping projects i have. Tax will be 1/2 what I pay here and I will be spending $500+. I tested positive a few weeks ago, only took test because of my risk to a family member I care for. I received a few calls from what looked like a county prefix since but didn’t answer. Anyone been contacted by a tracer? Because in all honesty, I don’t plan on answering shit to someone with no “skills” & who is probably just filling a low-life patronage job. There is no reason I need to disclose my personal information to anyone. If I even felt this was even legitimate need, I could answer any questions privately and online, but even that’s a stretch. We are 6-7 months into this shit...contact tracing is of little use now.

CHICAGO — Illinois credit rating was downgraded to one notch above junk status Thursday by Fitch Ratings, which revised its outlook for the state from stable to negative. According to the ratings agency, Illinois will be "challenged to maintain" an investment-grade credit rating.
The other major ratings agencies, Moody's Investors Service and S&P Global Ratings, had already rated Illinois credit as barely investment grade. Both revised their outlook for Illinois to negative earlier this month.
"Illinois has demonstrated a repeated inability to address its structural challenges due to an absence of consensus and resistance among key stakeholders," according to Fitch's analysis. "Despite progress in the most recent legislative session, the track record for the political environment in the state, and its hampering of prudent fiscal policy, remains a negative rating consideration."

My 79 year old mother thinks that the Democrats are noble people because she’s getting her 2nd stimulus check. She’s 79. Her income is fixed but wasn’t affected in anyway by the pandemic. I’m glad she is getting money, but the ironic thing is I don’t get a check because I’m too busy working my days off to help her out, thus I make too much money to ever see stimulus $. Meanwhile, my basement is flooded and my engine light on my 10 year old car went on again after spending $500 on it last month. Oh, and I had to cancel a handful of overtime because I got sick with Covid. I told my mom, I’m going to blow up her TV if she doesn’t stop watching CNN.
I heard a rumor that some hospitals were letting bodies sit in hallways to proliferate fear & illusion of death numbers due to Covid, instead of them respectfully being held in the morgue. If the rise in Covid hospitalizations were true, would we have just dismantled a $75 million hospital that saw 37 patients?

(The Center Square) – Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Wednesday backed off an emergency rule filed by his administration that would have made reopening a business outside of his stay-at-home order a crime.
After delaying the start of the Joint Commission on Administrative Rules by about three hours on Wednesday, JCAR co-chairman and state Sen. Bill Cunningham asked Illinois Department of Public Health officials if the emergency would be repealed.
“The recently filed emergency rule filed by the department is going to be repealed,” Cunningham said. “Can you confirm that for me?”
A department official confirmed it would be repealed.
Repealing the rule kept members of JCAR from going on the record with a vote on it.
