- Chicago Police are currently blocking the entrance to the PRIVATE bank parking lot across the street from Elim Pentecostal Church, to prohibit members from parking their cars there for the 7 pm service. The Church has had a contractual right to use this parking lot for the last 18 years. The Police confirmed that Mayor HeavyHand has ordered them to do this, after her street parking ban backfired against her this morning.
The Police are now trespassing on private property and interfering with private contractual rights, not to mention grossly violating the Constitution. They are making our legal case better by the minute.

- You realize the bank lot is Private Property and the police are being utilized to prohibit access (interfere) to an area that is the subject of a legal Contract between two individual entities (the bank and the church)? Most of the church people don't live in the neighborhood, so they aren't the ones street parking here or at that Romanian church. They are using bank lots and other places that are closed on Sundays. Legal Affairs dropped the ball big time on this one and a number of big name law firms are eager to take up these cases.

My guess is someone in that neighborhood has the mayor’s ear. I used to live in a condo on that street & maintained a quiet profile, but had lots of neighbors that were teachers, anti-police, media people, Uber-intellectuals (aka atheists bc believing in “God” is just silly (according to them). It probably bothers some asshole in the neighborhood that it’s a Christian Church. They’d probably rather see it turned into a concert venue or a brewery. The church was generally well attended on a regular basis not just holidays. Most attendees were no longer from the neighborhood, but unlike a lot of Churches it still seemed to be an anchor for their community. It was never my Church, but I hope they sue the ill-fitting suit pants off the mayor.

So the little mayor could have blocked the entrance to the church to begin with but by placing the no parking signs and preventing parking or even towing any vehicles of residents or their visitors she was being clever. She wanted the neighborhood to feel the pain. The purpose was to turn the neighborhood against the church. Everyone knows the risks of the Coronavirus and those people going to that church will probably by able to physically distance themselves better than if they were at a supermarket or liquor store. This action was done for spite. My suggestion for future visits is to meet at a remote location and get bussed in (physically distancing of course). The police were not stopping congregation members from ENTERING the church. They were just preventing them from parking in the lot. Believe me, police are used like pawns in this political game. ok relax, they didn’t deny them freedom of religion. They didn’t block access to the church. It looks like they only denied them access to a parking lot. I don't think people realize that this is the beginning of more draconian orders that will follow not just for those that demand religious liberty as guaranteed by the first Amendment, but to everyone else. If we the people to not stop this when the impact is small, we will NOT be able to stop it when it gets big.

I never thought that what I saw in communist Poland back in 1987 would be occurring in the US. I'm disgusted! Wake up and vote these socialists out of office. The USA was known for a country to fight back and keep its freedom. Don't just sit at home and do nothing. Call your local representative and voice your opinion. They work for US and not for their self interests. Let them know that you will vote against them if they don't oppose the Governor and his socialist rules.

Because CPD blocked access to a parking lot they contractually were allowed use. Doing so interfered with their right to peaceably assemble and practice their religion.
Until they are held criminally/personally liable for the losses, Lightfoot, and those like her, will continue to pass on the lawsuit losses onto the citizens, until they succeed in imploding the US using the Cloward Piven strategy.
So it's going to be a win-win situation for these Communist/Globalist infiltrators, until they are personally held accountable themselves.
