Tenor of the Reporting
Everyone remembers just a few short years ago that the left was preaching "dissent and/or protest is the highest form of patriotism?" We heard a lot of that following the 9/11 wars, especially when the military went to Iraq. It was practically a staple of nightly reporting.
Then Sparklefarts won two terms and those protestors (TEA Party adherents, gun rights people, etc) were labeled unpatriotic, extremists and all manner of slander.
This carried over to the 2016 campaign in particularly brutal nasty with the antifa pussies attacking Republicans in the streets, all while acting very much like the Brownshirts of the 1930's...you know....fascistic.
Then Trump won and suddenly, protesting became patriotic again. Funny how that worked.
Now you have many people in blue states, with democrat totalitarian governors extending Constitutionally questionable practices.....and protesting is, once again, a naughty undertaking.
Keep an eye on this obvious manipulation being undertaken by the media-types.

You know what is really bothersome, the fact that these democrats have the police (who they treat like shit and have no respect for) arresting and ticketing these citizens. These social distancing rules are unconstitutional. The governor only has the power to have an emergency order for 30 days. They DO NOT make news laws up. Any laws have to be made by the legislature. People don’t know this and just do what they’re told to do. CPD-stop putting yourself out there like this and doing the work of a mayor who can’t stand you and will not give you a contract and a governor that bought his position by paying off everyone and their mother and doesn’t give a crap about you either. This state is being kept closed for political reasons only. Stop doing their dirty work.

Who on the right was promoting running over protesters with their cars? You mean all those videos on YouTube of the BLM rioters mobbing and attacking vehicles with people in them so the occupants not wanting to get beaten by the mob, you know like BLM is known to do, said fuck it and drove away? Yah that’s not running over “protesters” that’s escaping a mob wanting to kill you. Most protesting against the leftist governor’s nazi tactics just want to be able to go back to work. Work: trading your time and labor in exchange for money in order to be able to care for yourself and/or your family instead of becoming reliant on the government. That’s important to some people. Fatboy just denounced the protesters at the Thompson Center this afternoon calling them obstructionists. You think any politician would get away with calling the CTU or BLM protest groups "obstructionists"? BTW there were around 1,000 protesters and not a single mention of it by any media outlets...shocking. The hypocrisy is deafening.
A little history....the SS stopped wearing brownshirts in 1929. The SA continued wearing brownshirts but they were never law enforcement just a paramilitary organization that started losing power in the early 1930’s until the leadership was decapitated in 1934 at the Night of the Long Knives. When the kripo (plainclothes police) and orpo (uniformed police) were absorbed into the SS is when it technically became law enforcement.

Disease ( e.g., Smallpox, Yellow Fever, Malaria, to make but three) were commonplace in 1787 when The Founding Fathers met In Philadelphia to write The Constitution. During the War of Independence, which had ended only six years earlier with the surrender of Cornwallis to GEN Washington at Yorktown, the Continental Army lost more men ( and horses) from disease than from actual combat. The Founding Fathers lived in an era in which civic life was precarious and the specter of epidemic was always loooming. Yet, somehow, they NEVER NEVER included in The Constitution a provision that if LESS than ONE(1) percent of the population dies from a disease, we need to suspend the Constitutional Rights of the remaining 99 percent.
The Founding Fathers were the Protesters of their era ( e.g., Boston Tea Party) as well as being Combat Veterans of the French and Indian Wars and/or War of Independence and specifically recognized the right to Protest in the First Amendment. They got it right!
