They were told that if they didn't voluntarily comply within 5 days, they could be fined $10k per day. What a miserable specimen.
Groot suffers from that all-to-common democrat affliction - "I know better than you." It's also called "Karen-ing" and unfortunately, in her position (short, angry mayor), she can actually cause businesses harm.
It's sad that while enjoying a rare night out (hopefully with good company), she can't take the time enjoy herself....and let others enjoy themselves, too. She has to interject herself into everyone else's life just in case they were having a good time and forgetting that she's the harridan who can ruin lives.

Met the family at a restaurant in Munster Indiana yesterday. We sat inside and was waited on, and no face masks (only the servers). It was really nice and well worth the drive. Then we stopped and did some shopping since we were in Indiana, filled the car up with gas. If we were smokers we would have bought cigarettes too.
