Englewood Saturday - Hold my beer:

• A 1-year-old boy was killed and his mother wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Englewood.
  
  The 22-year-old mother and her child were driving home from a laundromat just after 2 p.m. on Halsted Street when another car pulled alongside them near 60th Street, police said. As the cars drove together, someone in the other vehicle fired seven to eight shots into the passenger’s side of the mother’s car, police said.
  
  The little boy was struck once in the chest as he sat in a rear car seat, and the mother suffered a graze wound to her head, according to police. The mother drove to nearby St. Bernard Hospital, where the child was pronounced dead, police said. The boy would have turned two in a few months.

As of 1800 hours, the weekend had already surpassed each of the past six years in total homicides with seven. The only year with more homicides was the infamous 2016....and that year only had eight. Chances are 2020 passes it (or has already passed it) before Sunday morning.

So the list of failures continues to include Groot, her hand-picked command staff, Prickwrinkle, Prickwrinkle's felon-releasing-puppet Foxx, Fart and "no bail is too small" Evans abetted by the media that refuses to report those making decisions that are leading to the killing of children.
