On June 19, 2020, Foxx conducted a voice conference with all the investigators of the SAO. This was a mandatory meeting that included the chief, commanders and all sergeants. According to various investigators, the meeting focused on jubeelee day. Foxx gave a speech to informed all the investigators the importance of This day. She also provided a history lesson on jubeelee day. Foxx when on to say how much Black people have been mistreated by whites. During this meeting, Fox encouraged several white investigators to apologize for their white privilege which they did. According to various investigators, they were shocked that this type of meeting was being conducted.
Former state’s attorney Anita Alvarez, never forced any employee to attend a Latino history meeting nor did Richard Divine or any other previous state’s attorney. what foxx did was completely wrong and illegal. This meeting was a official meeting.

I'd like to hear from someone with a background in HR how it is OK to ask someone to apologize for being a certain race, gender, sexual orientation, class, etc. in the workplace. If it's OK, which apparently it is since Kim is brazenly doing it, then I respectfully request that Kim please apologize to all her line ASAs for being so stupid and uninformed about the criminal code and constitution she is sworn to uphold. Unfastened means uncontrolled, no discipline - and "gasped" a white T-shirt might be observed clearly indicating white dominance - it is such an aggressive color.
So "sans tie" will then also require black or brown t-shirts, or no t-shirts worn.

OT, but with Preckwinkle's dire forecast for the 2021 budget, expect Foxx to use COVID as an excuse to stop prosecuting even more crimes. Foxx was recently asked about how she plans to deal with expected budget cuts and she revealed that she will no longer try to do more with less, but rather plans to do less with less... likely meaning the end of diversion programs (which help those with substance abuse issues, mental health issues, and veterans) as well as more cuts in prosecutions of non-violent offenses. Foxx apparently thinks that the last few months have shown that the system can survive without prosecuting certain classes of cases.
It's no surprise that Foxx clearly has a different idea of what life in Chicago ideally should be like for its citizens, since COVID has brought an unprecedented spike in crime. Her comments once again confirm that Foxx's focus is on what life should be like for criminals (they should be free to roam the streets because they are victims of a racist system) versus law-abiding citizens (they should live in constant fear of getting jumped, car-jacked, shot).
Citizens of CC should keep this in mind when voting in November. They should also take a hard look at Foxx's allocation of resources within her office both pre and post COVID. It is possible to prosecute both violent and non-violent crimes within her budget... she just chooses to spend boatloads of money on personal advisors and data generators instead of prosecutors. She is motivated by her own personal agenda and desire to make national headlines, not by the best interests of the citizens she was elected to protect.
