Three Hour FOP Meeting

We had a couple people at the meeting sending us updates. We aren't looking to steal their thunder, and most of the readers should have unit reps out there spreading info, but we received info on a couple of on-going sagas covered here:
  • The "popcorn scandal" will be dying out slowly as it was discovered that a connected lieutenant pulled the squad from a post near 57th and the Dan Ryan to protect Booby's office. There might be some verbal reprimands for the actual popcorn and coffee usage;
  • The officer who was communicating using sign language will be SPARred as there is ample precedent that this is not a fire-able offense.
  • Groot is pleading "poor" and "broke" as predicted here. She's also demanding the FOP be a "partner" in negotiations, failing to note that it has been her negotiators who have been blowing off meetings and demanding unilateral disarmament by the FOP. Hopefully, the FOP has been keeping a scrapbook of the millions that Groot has been discovering for her pet programs.
There's more. Lots more. We're sure comments will be forthcoming. And everyone should talk with their unit reps to reopen lines of communication that have been sorely lacking in recent years.

Many topics were covered. Thank God John is there now. They want to start combating this anti police narrative that plagues us every single day. Starting a push online and they asked officers to be on the lookout for any positive interactions we might have with the public caught on bwc. Need the event#, date and time. IF you are up for possibly being in that spotlight. Cause we all know how things can be turned around, good looks bad and bad looks, well, terrible. But i feel its important personally, because we are losing BIG TIME in the media. Getting hammered every day all day sucks. It fucking sucks. The silent majority may appreciate us, but the media is killing us. So, whether its say, a deescalation job, a life saving situation, something good involving kids, bad domestic turned good, etc, you be the judge...call and send fop the full event# and they'll foia it and get it out there. We gotta start somewhere to win back hearts and minds. Cause the Department PR page sucks. And CAPS suck too. This needs to be so big that any negative police news will be countered with 10fold of positive interactions. We do great things everyday all day, just no one sees it!!

No problem Mayor. You claim no money for raises.Have the residency requirement removed, obey the State Law on signed Affidavits for complaints, and have Officers involved in shooting incidents allowed the same amount of time that FBI Agents are allowed before giving an official statement. And finally just so there are transparent negotiations, provide an itemized list of monies spent since the Police Contract expired. So we are all clear here,Chicago Public School Teachers received a 16% raise and their teaching assistants received a 40% raise after teachers went out on Strike for 14 days losing no salary.Teachers still contribute only 2% towards their pensions.Teachers were paid in full to stay at home for over 3 Months this spring during the Pandemic.Chicago Police Supervisors received a 10.5% raise this year.During these tough financial times will the Chicago Fire Department also be receiving no raise in pay?

So far I’m happy with JCat. Graham was a total waste. He should have had us in arbitration the first year. I do think it’s time for arbitration because we all know we will make zero progress with Lightfoot. All she cares about is her boss The CTU.

Well lets out the connected lieutenant and put him on the witness stand. Was it his decision to protect Rush’s office or was he told by someone else? He needs to come clean as he created he created a lot of negative air time on the local and national news which portrayed those officers as cowering inside Rush’s office as the riots were going on. They really did a hatchet job on them. Remember when Mayor Lightfoot declared at the press conference that it was “simply not true” that those officers were sent there. She accused them of lounging and said it was “disgraceful and disrespectful” to the Congressman. There was a rumor that Lightfoot was even considering burglary charges. Rush is a ungrateful racist for making a big deal about the popcorn and coffee, any other storeowner would be forever thankful if the police protected their property. The lieutenant, the mayor, and the congressman need to give another presser for castigating those officers and admit they spoke and “acted stupidly”. Now where did I head that before?

"Popcorn Scandal"

Ok then...

So why hasn't the Boobie-Rush's Ossified Ass Kissing
clout-monkey Lieutenant been publicly outed
and shamed yet?

Maybe because said clout-monkey Lieutenant
actually owes his/her/it's Lt's bars TO
Boobie Rush or some similar such other
upright walking political critter?

Said clout-monkey Lieutenant should volunteer
to wear the shit-shirt of shame and publicly
apologize to the fine Men and women of CPD
for causing them to be publicly being condemned,
shamed and ridiculed?

Just leaving it at the clout-monkey Lieutenant
unfortunately allows for the exempts who APPROVED
the re-allocation of manpower to Boobie Rush's
office.

If you think shit like this happens in a decision-making
and supervisory vacuum, you're a damned fool...

The exempts who co-signed this Boobie Rush ass-smoochery
should also be made to wear the shit-shirt of shame and
publicly apologize along with the clout-monkey Lieutenant.

Instead of hiding like little guilty bitches
while the fine men and women of CPD were
viciously and publicly maligned by Groot,
Boobie and the reeking & leaking anal-whore
local media.

Especially after they were deliberately run ragged
working 12 to 16 or more hours a day without even

However the only gripe with the FOP is about the pension, not looking into the forensic audit that has been called for and has been paid for by the police officers to hire a private firm to do it paid out of their own pocket not the fraternal order of police! Remember John retired guys and gals are still members of the fraternal order of police and all the people that are on the job now all the coppers they look forward to the pension being funded so maybe just take a look At it, thank you!

How about she starts with her City Council. Earlier in her first year, she decided to give more money to the aldermen for their ward pet projects in the tune of $25,000.00. This was to drum up support for her BS budget. Let’s tie that together with the alderman salary of $122,304.00 and multiply that by 25 FEWER alderman. I know this is like kicking a dead horse here, because we’ve all been saying the same thing time and time again. But, if she REALLY about reform and getting more money into the community, possibly settle a three year contract, then she needs to look no further then city council. Cut that dead weight and you’ll come up with saving the constituents some money on a yearly basis. DEFUND CITY COUNCIL!!!

I don’t think Groot understands that the longer this goes, the more she’s gonna have to pony up. She could try to take the first years retro off the table, which I hope doesn’t happen!!! But, she’d still be looking at two years worth of retro with OT, per every copper active and recently retired. Now, had they just addressed our contract, say 3 years ago, (Rahm) how much more money could the city have saved? As a paying member into the union, I say, don’t give the city an inch. This is their mess they created by continually kicking the van down the road.

Keep in mind, she’s going to use this against us, too. She’ll go to the media, who hang on her every word, as she tells the residence that the police union isn’t willing to bend in these turbulent times, pitting us as the bad guys, again. Then she’ll put raising property taxes solely on the police, furthering the love in which we already receive.

Yes Mayor,Lets be Partners.5%,5%,5%,for the 3 years before your fiscal mismanagement of the Scamdemic with the appropriate Retroactive Payment attached.0% for this year with this new Contract expiring on 01JAN21.The signed Affidavit remains but FOP agrees to reduce the time before an Officer Statement on a shooting to 12 Hours with the clock beginning when the Officer is released from the Hospital.Understanding that Court Time has pretty much been eliminated anyway but minimum of 4 Hours for any Court Appearance and 6 Hours if said appearance is required on RDO.Have each District staffed based on the population of the District. And finally, allow Police Personnel with 10 Years or more to live outside of the City.Maybe as an extra throw in that once you top out of the salary schedule at 29 and a day that you are allowed to retire with medical insurance regardless of age.Which means you could possibly retire beginning at age 51 or so.There you go Mayor. We are now Partners.

BOY, are we rolling! Minneapolis PD melting into some sort of puddle, police radio in Atlanta gone silent of a summertime Saturday night - empty chip bag blows past - and Chicago will be doomed by the Groot to follow NYC's path...

NYPD officials claim '$1 billion budget cuts could create crime levels not seen since the 1980s' as one precinct commander quits in protest over the latest police reforms

* Several politicians have proposed cutting $1 billion from the NYPD's annual $6 billion budget in the wake of widespread anti-police protests

* An internal memo penned by NYPD brass alleges that such drastic cuts could cause crime to surge to levels unseen in three decades

* Crime spiked in New York City during the crack epidemic of the 1980s, but has been steadily falling since 1991

* However, shootings and stabbings have surged this month following the disbandment of the plainclothes anti-crime unit

* New York City has not seen so many June shootings since June 1996

* One police commander in the Bronx has reportedly quit in protest, saying he has not been given guidance on how to effectively police in the wake of the reform

I'm pretty sure I didn't sign onto this job for accolades. Yes, you're correct, the media treats us like $h!t. The media is also a biased lackey for the left (in MOST cases). You signed up to serve and protect our city's citizens, those that work here or visit here! We have a true POS mayor (who is totally out of her league) and we've dealt with POS mayor's in the past. In the past, they may all have been a$$holes at one or more times. They won't get rid of us. Why? Hey Jackass would be posting from somewhere in Siberia because it's safer there than anywhere else in this city, county, and yes JB the Hutt's state without us.

The best we can do is be cohesive as a union. All the older and wiser ones must show and explain to the newer ones, it's not ALL about the money, but about our safety and security IN this job. De-funding the police will not happen. There are way to many intelligent people living and/or working in this city to let those criminally bent on murdering, looting, rioting, dealing/using drugs to run Larri's asylum. Stay cohesive as a Union in THIS city. We don't speak for all our brothers and sister throughout the state or country, until we show our strength HERE!!

Tucker Carlson is simply the “more” conservative talking head on the Fox ( read: Bush) Network. He loudly proclaims his shock, horror and disgust with the in-custody death of career criminal St. George Floyd as loudly as any leftist political pundit or politician. He rails against police unions and the protections provided to policemen. Methinks neither he nor any others such as Limbaugh, Ben
Shapiro, or Dennis Prager have any conception of what is like for the policeman to here the M/1 say, “Y’all ain’t takin’ me to jail m’fer!” If you’re weary of the cacophony of anti-police (read: anti-white) histrionics please bookmark VDARE and American Renaissance. The SPLC condemns both groups-as well as an order of Roman Catholic nuns-as hate groups. You’ll read more accurate and unbiased reporting and opinion especially in regards to the police. You be the judge.

Now I have BS, Bachelors of Schitt, along with a life saving award, Blue Star and zero time on medical!

And I cannot wait to drop that Retirement paperwork.

If the City Council of Minneapolis disbands the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a department of community safety and violence prevention” that will take “a holistic, public-health-oriented approach.” It also provides for a law enforcement division with licensed officers.

Every Corporation large or small that has their HQ there should immediately move to a Minneapolis Suburb that Likes their Police Department.

Same thing for any retailer large or small, especially if your store got burned/and or looted should not rebuild in Minneapolis. Tell the lovely city council why.

There was no union back when I was in the academy. In those days if you looked at a white shirt the wrong way, you could be transferred to another part of the city on a phone order, on midnight's, starting the next day.

Guys like John Flood (Combined Counties Police Assoc or CCPA), Jack Hawkinsen (AFL-CIO), Joe Pecoraro (Chicago Patrolman's Assoc or CPA), the FOP and the Teamsters union were all trying to organize Chicago Police officers. The older Daley, Richard J., had always called in each of these groups to discuss what salary and benefits they were looking for each year. He would tell each of them he liked and respected them and assured them that he would make the Department less political and then he'd do what he was planning to do all along... cheap us on our raise and keep us from getting too powerful by dividing us and conquering.

Nothing changed until the police endorsed Jane Byrne for mayor after she promised us we could unionize. The rest, as they say, is history.

Things got immensely better over time, once we chose FOP to represent us and got our first contract but that brings us to today. I think there is too much complacency these days. People come on the job and they already have the job safeguards that were hard fought for by our union over the years so there is no sense of emergency like we were feeling. That has all changed though. It started when Obama said "the police acted stupidly" in Cambridge, MA and continued throughout his 8 yrs, including Ferguson, MO and his DOJ forcing police depts around the U.S. into consent decrees, including our CPD. It has certainly been ratcheted up a few notches with Larry in charge and the police hatred and defunding marches going on.

Maybe we will start to see more togetherness and toughness in our union and our members. It can be a good thing.

What’s new is allowing anonymous complaints against cops, no more disciplinary records being destroyed and interviewing complainers before cops learn who they are. The amendment goes on to say the director of the new agency would have "non-law-enforcement experience in community safety services, including but not limited to public health and/or restorative justice approaches." It also provides for a division of licensed peace officers who would answer to the department's director.

The elimination of the Minneapolis Police Department caused a massive wave of real estate and apartment inventory in the last 3 weeks.

Sellers can expect WHO to buy these homes in a city without a police department and basic safey?

Fire sale on housing. Wrecking home values and decimating equity for the city. This in the midst of a coming recession, mass wave of foreclosures expected, and mass unemployment. Where will the revenues come from when values are slashed?

Democrats are WITHOUT A DOUBT destroying the American Dream and siphoning people's nest eggs out of their most valuable asset.

What corporations and businesses will a police-free city attract? What will insurances cost to live in such a city?

There is no way the County Sheriff's Office can handle a city of half a million without municipal police.

Fucking dangerous Democrats are killing people slowly, financially or by crime waves. Dems are the enemy within.

Add wallmart to the do not shop list. I read an awful story on another Leo site that happened in oklahoma.

Briefly, they announced blm and anti police sh*t over speakers when a Leo family (9 yo son) were in the store.

The Leo family asked to speak with manager, check out asked why. After that back and forth exchange, the family identified as a LEO family. The checkout dingdong walked away and REFUSED to finish the check out. Yes refused.

2 guards appeared, one an off duty, ended up horrified. The young boy was devasted and the lights went out of the Leos eyes. Wife was furious.

Not the first anti LEO walmart story I've discovered. Boycott every company supporting these lying blm freaks which are fundraisers for demonrat party. Do the research.

Black leadership killing their people because criminals are freed into their neighborhoods every hour of every day. Every minute, second and this is only the beginning.

Yet for reasons unknown, they dig back years and years to find ways to reopen police records, closed matters which will produce even more lawsuits and ghetto lottos??

Chicago is gone. They've run it into the ground beyond the point of no return.

I’ve had the misfortune over the years to have “hypothetical situations” brought to my attention by school staff about severely inappropriate behavior by CPS Staff and particularly the school “security/mentors.” When you have young girls with no Father Figure in their lives they are preyed upon by by rabid male predators using them for nothing but sex. The dirty little secret known internally by EVERY CPS school is multiple pregnancies and/or abortions resulting from these illicit hookups. In reality CPS is nothing more than a pedophiliac sex trafficking ring with no consequences and 0 education.

Chicago Teachers teach students 8 hours a day and take work home???HA HA HA.Thats a good one.Now here is a slight correction on that description of those hardworking Teachers. At the time that school was actually in session and they were physically in the classrooms,2 hours a day at most.At this years end marking from September 2019 to September 2020 they will have been in the actual school building "TEACHING" 2 Months.CPS Students signing in for E Learning =2 out of 35 in an average classroom. They have been paid for over 4 Months for sitting at home and if you throw in their Strike time it is closer to 5 Months. The teachers still only contribute 2% into their Pension Fund compared to 9% by all other city workers. They do not abide by Residency rules and live wherever they want to.And as we are all about to find out, they sexually abuse their students quite often and get away with it.Yes,you are definitely correct.Police Officers should never compare themselves to Chicago Public School Teachers.
