End of an Era. Steve Georgas has been involved in just about every Major Deployment since the Y2k preparations in 1999-2000. These major deployments are serious events as we can all see how bad it can go without a good plan. His level of knowledge of the job and ability to plan major events with attention to detail was unequaled. McCarthy loves to take bows for NATO. He did nothing!! Georgas planned just about everything. Yes he had help during NATO but the plan, he set up, was a script for every event to come. The Loop was set up in a grid and zone format. The utilization of platoons and deployment of teams in Platoon form could and should be utilized from that point on. Soft looks backed up by platoons of teams in riot gear was all laid out. Although, the Department has lost about 600 or more discretionary use personnel in MSF/TRU and GED which were the primary Field Force. The integration of Intelligence and undercover members and the idea of continued civil unrest training all were key components. That was all laid out 8 years ago. The idea of mentoring was informally done right up to the Weis era, then the bottom dropped out. It became a real game of thrones, my guys vs their guys. High School games. Now even the idea of mentoring is a foreign concept. Georgas should have been a Chief/Deputy Superintendent a long time ago. Congratulations Steve! Good luck and thanks!
018 what did you expect when you have overly promoted people who had the promo test questions from Stevie G (who was subject matter expert). Also Cmdr Stevens- Gonzales daddy was a D/C with close ties to Mauer....her hubby also has a nice gig at the airport. Also Biefeldt daddy was OTJ. Both nice people but that doesn't make you qualified to Command....
Hear me out. Nation wide, police departments are undermanned. There are calls for defunding and disbanding the departments and for restructuring. When you read the “what this really means” stuff the morons put out, they want different people going to different calls depending on type of service. A more specialized response. So I think that they want more liberals running the department by making a public safety department constituent of police, fire, and social services under one roof. With a public safety czar to run it. It would employ more socialist social workers and community organizers. They will already be there on scene with us to watch us. They will be what the USSR called political officers. They won’t be the police but they will have some training, maybe even enough to operate an emergency vehicle. They will be snitches on scene. They will be the Primary responder in non felony situation, like CIT is supposed to work. We will still be on the hook for any paperwork so they can get in to the next mental or domestic or what have you. Bosses would be subject to their decisions because they are considered expert and like any domestic, they’ll decide, then you’ll be on the hook for the catch-22 of “I want him arrested but don’t hurt him.”
This is not true. Steve Georgas was retiring before any of this took place. He is also not CPD's savior. They put him out front just in case shit went down hill. The First Deputy Riccio and Chief of Patrol Fred Waller were in charge. Randy Darlin was running the show out of that room at OEMC that he bragged about and bullshitted the city into paying for. Its just a copy of CPIC. You also have a new Superintendent and a civilian Robert Boik who is not the police, and has way to much police power. Now everyone is scurrying trying to place the blame and the person who they are fingering had nothing to do with this crap. They even admitted that they shut him down before this even started. The first night Randal Darlin, your First Deputy and Waller were in charge and shit went to hell. Darlin screamed on the radio all night. He was way over his head and all of the shit he promised he could do out of that room fell on a zero. That is where the downfall starts. Then here comes Waller who is a street cop and knows nothing about deployments. Hell look how messed up the city is and has been all year shootings and homicides. Riccio was just a figure head and has never and still does not bring anything to the table, so you have the three bozos right there. Darlin brought Steve Georgas in to help him on Saturday morning. The city still got beat to hell. They both together still had things fucked up. We at OEMC just watched CPD's shit show. Steve Georgas was given time to rebound and one good day because these savages had nothing else to loot, he became yall's golden boy. FOH He was in the midst of this BS from day one with Darlin. Steve Georges then brings all of his cronies in so they can get face time with the Mayor and put on the Superintendent's radar. But the real players that normally play this game was out so don't believe the hype. I work at OEMC and was there the first night with Darlin. If they don't tell the truth, I will. Pay attention to what I just said. And Steve Georgas is bidding for another job right now. Watch what happens next. He did not do anything to deserve it either except kiss a little ass, dog all of you CPD bosses don't forget Georges that mics are everywhere in that building, and use the playbooks from before and other cities. Anybody can do that but only he and his crew were given that task and they still failed miserably. The District Commanders decided on their own to save stores and do something. My Commander was on my block all night. Waller and Riccio who are over patrol gave them no direction what so ever and the Mayor played the puppet holder this entire time. The new guy is too stupid and afraid of the Mayor and Boik to tell them to fuck off and let him do his job. He knew to come strong day one, but the Mayor said no. That soft look set the precedent for y'all getting y'all asses kicked all weekend long. And this is what this city is known for which is why we have a city fool of incompetent embasils. You do one thing good and get some lime light and they trust in you only and give you the world. You will fail and fail miserably. And look at the crime during this timeframe. The savages shot up the whole city.

This is the instructor who is assigned to the academy. Unfortunately, when I was detailed to the street, I became violently ill and had to use the medical. I am still on the medical. But I will grace all of you with my presence. I hope that neither of you are police officers because I do not see how slight resistance equals justification for murder. Also, I do not see Floyd resisting while he is being killed. Why is the video so special that people have to wait to the jury to see it before it affects the outcome of the case or the faith of the officers. I hope that I do not meet any of you for in-service training at the academy.
Lets not forget Georgas is an original “study the actual test” vs studying for the test benefactor.....all thanks to Mauer,.......
