Nice Downtown Groot....Again
- A man is dead and a woman injured after a shooting on the Wabash Bridge early Sunday, police said. No one is in custody.
For two hours before the shooting, police responded to a series of disturbances and complaints about large groups of people who were congregating and partying near Trump Tower and along Wacker Drive between Michigan Avenue and State Street.
At 2:35 a.m., two shooting victims waved down police near 45 East Wacker after being shot while riding in a black Honda Accord on the Wabash Bridge, according to a CPD statement and a witness.
Wait a minute. Isn't that MAGA country? A quick search of shows it's around 2,500 feet from the infamous 300 block of East Lower North Water Street where Crimesha's bestest buddy Juicy Smellit staged the best comedy bit we've ever had the pleasure of watching.

Clearly if only BeetleGroot would paint a giant BLACK LIVES MATTER in front of Trump Tower like her fellow idiot DeBlasio in NYC, this shooting would not have happened!
Nothing good happens after midnight.
When it comes to Chicago, based on times of crimes posted, nothing good happens after noon and before about 7AM.
So there appears to be about a 5 hour window to get into Chicago, conduct your business or shopping, then get out before the daily shenanigans start again.
Had 4 groups of 20+ people cancel our bus/limo service to go on shopping eating and just a fun day outing in the downtown area. I suspectbthat part of our business is dead now. No one wants to go into Chicago anymore. We are starting to offer Lake Geneva or Galena now instead. Less chance of getting shot , robbed or get caught in the middle of a riot or peaceful protest as your stupid mayor calls it.

Why do I think that the partiers are not residents of Trump Tower or any of the near by buildings?
The city spent a small fortune to build up downtown throughout the 1990’s, 2000’s, and 2010’s. Only to watch it be destroyed under Groot!
This has been a reoccurring theme, with Rahm and the last few years of Daley 2 too. Does anyone remember the Taste of Chicago fights and murder, beach closures, Navy Pier fights and murders, mob lootings/wildings on Michigan Avenue? 😑👮🇺🇸
Every protest now comes with a preplanned side order of looting. It takes organizing to make that happen, I hope someone is looking into the connection. Could lead to federal charges with a REAL prosecutor.

More and more tour groups are getting cancellations from people that were going to go downtown, also with the beach is being closed people wanted to go to Lakefront now they can’t but then again you can’t open the lakefront not because of the virus it’s due to the well let’s call it what it is it’s not racism when it’s realism it’s a black problem, nope not just a black problem but it’s also a liberal problem with the rioters who are being paid what are they get paid as a $25-$35 an hour to be out there? The suburban moms and dad‘s push their kids To come downtown and protest, only a matter of time till one of those children get raped killed in a mommy and daddy will be on TV blaming the police it’s the police fault for not protecting the children were only there to do a peaceful protest, no mom and dad they are terroristic acts.
Years back, my kid was invited to a B-Day party in the 'Hood. She didn't attend, the party address alone mandated the "Regret". My wife wondered aloud why there was no "end time" on the invitation. I told her: Over there? The party is over when the front porch gets shot up.
Where are all of the traffic cars, Tac teams looking for dopw arrests, not hard to figure out.
I feel a somewhat sad and nostalgic when I see the horrors that are happening downtown. I remember, in the 90s & early 2000s, we used to take family and friends who were visiting Chicago. They would always comment on how clean the city was despite how large it is and the numerous amounts people.
I think the last time we were there was 2012. We had a picnic at the museum campus. Now, I’m only downtown for work or business and I leave the kids at home. We did visit the Christkindle market last winter, but we arrived about 11:00 am, got our glüwein, and were out of there by about 11:30.
It’s such a shame that the city is being run by a bunch of outsiders and could care less what happens here. They have no legacy, they’ll just pack their bags and move on to the next job.
So, what’s the end game?
Destroy Chicago, hope and pray these jag offs elect Biden,
the Dems get full power in Washington, DC and then pay off bigly
to the cities that kept up the riots until November?
I can’t understand it to be anything else.......
WHY would you keep letting criminals out.....not prosecuting the violence....
Letting cities be torn apart in the name of WHAT?
Billions of dollars in damage, lives ruined, livelihoods destroyed,
tourism dead, tax bases dead....
Not to mention hundreds killed, thousands shot.......
