Just barely over one quarter of one percent! All 7 shot and wounded by CPD either shot officers, shot at officers, or pointed guns at officers.

OT city/cpd about to screw us working beat cops hoping for any opportunity to get out of patrol. Heard from another cop that the explosives k9 list has been exhausted. City has known for awhile that this was gonna happen. Instead of giving a new test and giving those of us who have worked these riots a chance to get out of a district they are using the patrol k9 list to fill explosives k9 spots. Wasnt there 2 seperate applications for both patrol and then explosives k9 for a reason. Hey fop wake up. Those who were hoping for a test to get out of a district and not deal with this shit anymore are about to get screwed.

During the exact time frame they shot and killed 1140 white people. The argument that blacks compose only 13% of the population does not hold water. The number they should look at is interactions with the police and the number of crimes committed by each race. The overwhelmingly vast majority of police shootings involve a reactive situation in which the police are called to the scene for a crime, not proactive in which the police initiate the contact.

I am in awe by how you do what you do each and every day while putting up with all this unbelievable, unrelenting pressure. The simple fact that you desire to continue to protect we law-abiding citizens in the midst of all this horror proves how exceptional are all our Police Officers.
Words cannot express how much you all mean to us, and please know that when the world seems to turn its back, there are multitudes of us who stand with you in spite of everything and cherish the fact that you are all magnificent and loved for who you are.

If you do watch any sports on TV pay close attention to who the local advertisers are, and then adjust behavior accordingly. Let them know WHY you are no longer watching, and certainly not buying any of their products. Enough people do this and certainly they'll get the message.

I have always admired him for his work with children and particularly with kids with cancer. However, he plays a kids game, makes millions of dollars doing it and he entertains us. I do not care about his political opinions or his stance on social justice issues. Go play your kid's game and let the people who handle the real problems of the world do their jobs. STFU
