So barely 200 protestors showed up to block the Dan Ryan and were easily repulsed by State and CPD.
A planned anti-police versus pro-police rally on the west side resulted in 15 hippies yelling at 15 Back the Blue supporters.
Half-a-dozen other "events" fizzled out with nary a protestor in sight.
Downtown was the focal point and another seventeen (so far) of our number were injured in clashes with assholes, resulting in twenty-four arrests (so far) and the usual claims of "peaceful" protestors being spouted by communist news outlets.
We'll see what the actual casualty counts are later this morning.

This is the report from ABC 7. They gave the entire platform of the first part of the news to these assholes being the 'victims' only giving a brief statement made by brownie that the police were assaulted.
"Protesters on the ground claimed they were holding a peaceful demonstration.(nevermind they were hitting cops over the head with skateboards)
Demonstrators also said some officers threw bikes at them. (funny they were doing the same thing and some of them actually had the gall to then file a complaint that the police 'stole' their bikes)
One protester said police demanded they empty their belongings and that officers made little to no effort to deescalate the situation.(this BTW would be considered robbery)
Several protesters were arrested and at least one was hurt after a clash with Chicago police in the Loop Saturday.

There were many, many more when they marched into downtown bearing a huge banner that said "loot it all back." Fortunately, the peaceful protesters we're smart and left when things became violent. What you see remaining after numerous dispersal warnings are in no way "peaceful protesters."
The sergeant of those two cops caught sitting down should have calmly walked up to the limo of Mayor BugEyes and said:
I told those officers to take a rest. They were showing signs of dangerous fatigue. Until a lieutenant or above countermands my instruction, they can sit until they feel better.
