The recent Fall chill hasn't seemed to slow down the killings around here:
Three people were fatally wounded and at least 12 others were injured in shootings since Friday afternoon, Chicago police said.
The first fatal shooting happened shortly before 4 p.m. Friday in the 4000 block of West Madison Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. Police said an unidentified man was struck in the back of the head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

I am currently reading a book about the history of Sicily.
Just prior to Mussolini's suppression of the mafia in 1923, the number of murders on the island - which even then was world more renowned for murder, mayhem, out of control crime and the wholesale brigandry that was a way of life for much of the the population - was 675.
That's 675 out of a then population of about 4.3 million people.
And that number was considered shocking at that time, even in an island that more or less had killing and criminal enterprise as it's major significant industry.

Of course most, by quite a long percentage, of those deaths are of and by those disadvantaged that our enlightened betters pretend to car about the most.

Maybe someone with time and intelligence can run the numbers on all that have been killed. I know that some are young innocent children that have been killed.
Run the adults and compare them to rap sheets and gang affiliations. If they are a thorn to society, on parole, probation and they have been "X" by society.
Then its possible that the Mayor, the ASA, the Sheriff, the Chief Judge, and the Gov, decided to release them back into the wild and let nature take its course. Maybe they have taken CPDs, so call Racist Gang List and Racist SSL List which point to the fact that this person will be an offender or victim at some point.
They condemned CPD statistical analysis, made CPD remove these list, but secretly are using them by No Bond or low bond. If they are "X" by the hand of society then they see it as saving taxes. If some of the young children were with their parents and the parent was the intended target then they accept this as collateral damage.
Just maybe that is the strategy. If I'm wrong then look at the flipside. If you reverted back to issuing a High Bond, held at County awaiting trail, true sentencing then these people will not be involved in reseditivism.
