Gun Probation to Attempted Murder
We thought that there were restrictions in place when you got convicted of gun crimes, the first one being "Don't have a gun anymore." Did Crimesha forget the Pinkie Swear part?
On March 10, police arrested 21-year-old Kamari Pleasant after allegedly finding a handgun in his car during a traffic stop. On November 2, he pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon in exchange for a sentence of probation from Judge Carol Howard.
Nineteen days later, on November 21, Pleasant fired 19 rounds from an automatic-firing handgun at cops who were chasing him on the Far South Side, prosecutors said Tuesday. He’s now charged with three counts of attempted murder of a police officer.
“I’m quite certain Judge Howard will be interested in seeing you,” Judge John Lyke told Pleasant after hearing the latest allegations.
Actually, we're pretty sure Judge Howard won't be interested in seeing this asshole. She wasn't interested enough to give him actual jail time on the other charge - No Punishment, No Deterrent.

dont know how common the last name of pleasant is in the shitty. one of the first guys harold hired when elected was a proffessor from shitcago state named pleasant. he was first deputy at water empowered to fire as many white people as he could and replace them with black employees. i guess that would be ok except all he hired were criminals and illiterates. after harold died there was an investigation and bosses admitted in court they were forced to rig all the promotion tests. stunningly the retards were demoted and pleasant went away, where i dont know, mabe back to the diploma mill. he should have gone to jail but the fact that justice prevailled at all was amazing. never happen now. so i wonder if the gun slinger pleasant is maybe the grandson of that political hack piece of shit that fucked up the water dept. maybe the sherlocks here can see if this scumbag is a product of the crook co demoncrat machine. be safe rangers, theres outlaws behind every tree !
Can't blame judge Howard on that young man being caught with another gun in a deadly situation just a couple of weeks or so after his initial plea an sentence of probation. Howard didn't set up the terms, the ASAs did. We all know this; the young man violated the terms of his probation, and now he'll have hell to pay. Fortunately, no officers were hurt when he went on his shooting spree.
The punk fucked up, took a slap, went out and fucked up again, hence, he sits in County awaiting trial. The system did what it was supposed to do.

Illinois has a concealed firearm carry law, mso any law abiding citizen can carry a firearm. Gov JB is making it as hard to obtain this license as he can, with waits up to one year at this point. But, anyone caught with a firearm who does not have a CCL should get prison time, no probation. The system is just a joke

Unfortunately 2020 CCSAO candidates didn’t hammer the issue of this charade they call criminal justice reform from the beginning. That’s where they failed, besides the cheat-by-mail and ballot harvesting operations.
About a year ago as the CCSAO campaigns geared up, Teabagged Evans and KmmFxxxUp 2020 denied and still denies recidivism exists, as does RëichsWrinkle. Her re-election comes up Feb 2022. They continue to say recidivism is difficult to measure. Some accounts say it’s in the 26% range for Gun related crimes.
It no surprise that even with 110% increase in just car-jackson armed robberies many in the north side/downtown liberal Wards that voted favorably for both KmmFxxxUp & Prickwrinkles put these two morons back in office for the past two County election cycles.
The politicians and the judges need to be held to the same standards as any law enforcement partner, personally responsible and accountable and not just by 4 year election processes. They should not be protected from lawsuits from ordinary citizens or from criminal referrals for their blatant disregard for prosecution and sentencing as written by legislation under the ILCS.
Jugghead SpecialEd once touted “we can’t arrest our way out of the problem”, he also boasted how he would seek “the fullest extent of the law” from the courts. How’d that work out? Hushed Browns won’t go down that path, he’s a compliant reform man.

Nothing seems to "trigger" the Chicago prosecutor's ire or give her cause for even mild concern: shootings of unarmed young teens, shootings of children including very young children, shootings of elderly, nothing. That's COLD!! Don't think I've ever heard of a more cold, callous prosecutor ever - and I am old. So, what motivates her? Maybe 1,000, maybe 1,200 Darwin award recipients? I’m not sure where some of you guys work, but handguns converted to full-auto via modifications (lemon-squeeze) or a “switch” is more common than you would think in certain areas. They do get recovered pretty regularly.

There are nearly 60 people on EM awaiting trial for MURDER in Cook County. Last year there was 17, but of course Cook County's radical bail reform has nothing to do with the spike in crime.
As you can now read in the daily papers, Madigan workd with the Black Caucus for two years to suppress any attempts to pas laws in Illinois that enhance prison time for gun crimes. This is something that I have a hard time swallowing. So, black people are the victims of gun crimes overwhelmingly, and the shooters are overwhelmingly black people. You would think that legislators, especially blacks, would want tough laws to stop this . But, it seems their attitudes are the opposite ; defund the police, let violent black criminals out of jail and prisons, signature bonds for everyone, make it difficult to charge criminals and doubly difficult to convict criminals and lastly, review all old convictions and try to get convictions dropped. Oh, don't forget, handcuffing the police
Judge Howard is the most incompetent Judge in the history of Cook County. She's not even intelligent enough to be a crooked Judge. She knits and cuts coupons all day...in her chambers. She's like a bag lady with a law degree and needs to be evaluated for fitness.
