The city can mandate mask wearing indoors in any city building and you would be wise to do so, n ot for fear of a reprimand, but from fear of inadequate ventilation systems which could spread the virus.When you are outdoors then they have no such power unless you are in a group or crowd . This is getting worse and it seems that only the cops are taking it on the chin. No raise, long hours and days without a break, many infections, and no sympathy from anyone. You should have been a teacher.

The last research on a corona vaccine was stopped because it was felt the virus is fading out and no one wanted to spend the time and money to continue. There is NO REASON why this feature should be included on a voting machine.
There is only ONE REASON to include this feature on voting machines — to STEAL elections.
For example, if you like a candidate you count two votes for every vote he or she receives. If you don’t like a candidate you give that candidate one-half a vote for every vote that person receives. You then set up a voting machine’s weighting such that all votes are allocated based on you weighting. At the end of the day you count ballots and all are counted but the number of votes for the first candidate is nearly twice as much as the number of votes that candidate received and half as much of the number of votes for the second candidate. This can be done because we’ve found that votes are stored as decimals in US voting machines providing for manipulation and voter fraud.
A data scientist who remains anonymous performed a review of the data in precincts in Milwaukee. His conclusion is very similar to Dr. Shiva’s in Michigan in three counties. The more Republican the makeup of a precinct, the more votes that were taken away from President Trump and ‘switched’ to Joe Biden. Also, ironically these votes move in a linear fashion which is very disturbing and highly, highly unlikely. The pattern indicates that these precincts were manipulated and votes were removed from President Trump and allocated to Joe Biden.

Well anyone that voted for joe Biden and his plan of more illegal shut downs is a low information individual,they clearly also don’t realize what socialism is. lightfoot and pricktzer are the worst but this is what Chicago voted in. Chicago is the reason Biden won Illinois. The rest of the state was pretty red. I still don’t get why any businesses downtown have unboarded. And even though today a cop was a dick to me I still support them and the struggle they go thru daily with the restrictions that mayor has on them. I’m behind our cops. Not all are “bad apples.”
What I don’t understand is.... why aren’t more businesses and individuals suing her and pricktzer. These are illegal.
And in fairness.... I believe our cases have gone so high cuz ppl are getting tested every few days. So the same person has 100 tests. They are promoting fear and ppl are reacting. These assholes were elected to run the day to day operations and functions of the government, that’s all. They were not granted control over the lives of anyone. Also, what sense does it make to alter the measuring stick 8 months into this nonsense? The only reason they would want to include “suspected cases” in the number is to make this seem more problematic than it actually is. Why would they reopen the schools at the time of year when the schools traditionally are dismissed for the summer? Your neighbors are either dumber than a box of rocks(quite possible, given their "occupations"), or they're testing you to see how dumb you are. Schools aren't going to reopen for the summer. Schools aren't going to reopen until the horrible "deadly" virus is nothing but a memory. This has become the teachers' excuse to do nothing, instead of their usual almost nothing, and collect six figures. They're not letting off the throttle of this gravy train until someone starts laying off teachers, which no one in Chicago would ever do. What your neighbors probably meant was that there will be no return to in-school instruction through at least the end of this school year, which would be in June 2021, meaning no return until September of 2021 at the earliest. If there's no school until June, there won't be any in June. They bought themselves a free year's salary plus with their whining and complaining. If students are "learning" from home, you need zero teachers. You just need a few people to design and implement an online curriculum for a few important subjects. No one is needed to "teach" anything, since it's all online anyway. Now that would help the city's budget immensely. I'm all for traditional, in-school learning, with actual teachers and classmates, and the whole school experience. Well, not the CPS school experience, but you know what I mean. However, if they're completely against in-school instruction, lay the fuckers off and save some cash. The kids will be fine. Most may even be much better off.

My son who attends school at ISU get tested 2 or 3 times a week because of his apartment situation and the face that his job consists of intermittent contact with the other students there. This has been going on since August. I will bet every test registers as a new covid test, inflating the numbers. On the plus side he has always tested negative.

So, he is doing the opposite of inflating the numbers. He consistently shows as a negative test, which drops the 'positivity' percentage.
CPD used to do this with some of us who consistently came up squeaky clean on drug screens. Whenever the positive drug test percentages started to rise, we got call after call for 'random' drug screens and helped bring the 'positivity' percentages down.
I live in Flordia. Been noticing a lot of Illinois and New York plates in the beach area renting houses. Turns out a high number of them TEACHERS. Must be nice. To be on permanent vacation enjoying the freedoms down here an still getting paid up there. You people keep voting for this. I’m glad I’m here,just wish these hypocrites weren’t. These teachers aren’t your friends.
Wish someone would start a website "Politicians on Holidays", to keep a list of where exactly these hypocrites are spending Thanksgiving & Christmas.
