You really have wonder what's the purpose of the media nowadays:
Chicago youth are at far higher risk of dying from gun violence than they are from COVID-19. That’s been the case since the start of the pandemic.
As of December 1, four Chicago youth have died from COVID but over 90 have died from gun violence. That’s 23 children dead from gun violence for every COVID death.
The numbers are far worse than they were five months ago when Wirepoints laid out the facts about reopening Chicago Public Schools to in-class learning. One of the more revealing points we covered was that the virus was far less a threat to Chicago children than gun violence.
But gun violence deaths are "acceptable losses" to Groot as long as she gets to hammer the CPD.
And whomever is pulling Groot's strings at the national level doesn't really care about dead minorities either. They'll get to preach about the "evil guns" and attack right-thinking people and businesses.

What underlying conditions did those four teens have? Very rare for any death to be due to just the China virus.

Well is it now clear that these elected officials who are marching to the tune of a different drummer (Marxism) that this is a nationwide movement. So today Los Angeles swore in George Gascór a far left radical as their new District Attorney. He was the DA in San Francisco for 8 years where he destroyed law and law enforcement in that city. In his acceptance speech today he basically said he is not prosecuting most crimes and resisting the police is one of them (so when the police can’t do anything what happens? There is anarchy, the end of law and order and the end of society. California still has the death penalty, he will not prosecute for that. Also he is ending the bail bond system. California still has bail bond companies that put up bail for those charged. This will obliterate those companies.

There is no such thing as gun violence as an independent entity - there is in fact Chicago youth violence. And of course they victimize themselves, thank God - would you rather they victimize someone else? You can figure this out by asking two questions - if all guns vanished, would Chicago youth violence vanish? But if all Chicago youth vanished, would gun violence vanish?
Yes but how many of those gunshot victims had COVID? That should be classified as a COVID related death too!

Don’t be so sure he’s fighting that hard. What has he won for us? Nothing. What’s he doing on his big issue pension and residency? Ask him if he’s filed for arbitration yet after Lightfoot told us to fuck off at the last second. Why did the FOP give a deadline if there’s no consequences? FOP is silent on the next step.
