Now for the rant part:
There were a bunch of comments that irritated us yesterday. People saying that we were attacking an aldercreature who supported police, who gave a fired cop a job when he got out of prison, who voted against Groot's tax hike and the 600 Officer "defunding" a few weeks ago, and we were now putting people out of work and by golly, what if the City Inspectors start hitting all the other joints flouting the rules?
What short memories you have. Tunney has always been about Tunney and what was politically expedient for Tunney. Have you forgotten?
- He supported Crimesha Foxx?
- The hideous Parking Meter fiasco?
- Traded his vote for a tax hike just a few years back over a promised increase in cops for his ward alone - which fell apart after the tax hike passed? His constituents got what exactly?
- Called the 023 District Commander to circumvent a moving violation he received for a cell phone violation - an ordinance that he voted for?
- As far as we can tell, he's still a Vice Mayor and Chairman of the Zoning Committee - both appointed spots by Groot....and Zoning is the second most powerful spot after Finance. He does what he's told to keep his spots.
That's lukewarm support. Opportunistic. What are his thoughts on Officers' fourth year without a contract? As for putting people out of work, how many people has Groot and the City Council put out of work by not opening up the economy in the face of a virus that has a 99.7% recovery rate? Tens of thousands? What makes his employees more important than any of those other people?
Tunney had an opportunity here to go against Groot and break the Groot embargo. To point out that her (and Fatass's) restrictions aren't based on science. That restaurant patrons aren't super-spreaders, just like church services aren't infecting people. He could have led an association of like-minded business owners who are being killed by this shutdown and pointed out that Groot isn't a dictator and she doesn't rule by fiat. Has there been a single Ordinance passed through the City Council regarding shutdowns, because the science doesn't back up any of the overreach currently going on.
Tunney doesn't get to back Groot on shutting down all of his competition and then act surprised when someone gets righteously outraged that he isn't following the rules because he's part of the so-called Ruling Class. Either the Rules apply across the board or they don't - no in-between.
UPDATE: By the way, Tunney is a bald-faced liar. He wasn't just "serving some regulars." We can prove that one, too, with more pictures. But we don't need to drag in a bunch of people who just wanted to get some food in a reasonably nice atmosphere. Tunney could have been a leader of the business community instead of just another Machine hack.

The union is obviously taking the position that “Never” would be a good time, as its viewpoint is based purely on politics, and even according to the people behind the critical race theory money machine, the -isms involved here will never ever go away. Ever. That would kill their golden Marxist goose. So…never reopen the schools, according to the Chicago Teachers Union.

I watched Tucker Carlson last night and he had a video with a Chinese economist that basically said many people in Congress are bought and paid for and when Trump came into power he became a problem to them and had to be removed. I guess this election had to do more with China than it did with Trump. Didn't really believe all these theories before the election, but looking back and seeing everything that has transpired since election day, the globalists really hated Trump and needed Sleepy Joe to just be a placeholder until Harris stepped in. Once she gets in the White House, the complete transformation will be underway. China has a 100 year plan and it looks like they have been doing a pretty good job on Africa and once America falls that plan will accelerate. I hope we have some honest brave politicians or judges left that will prevent this from happening.

Take a picture of his outdoor patio dining on Broadway in Edgewater. If you are waiting for the Broadway bus, you have to stand 50 feet from the stop because his "patio" extends to within 2 feet of the bus sign and runs the full length of his restaurant. People have to run into the street to catch the bus on that corner. Two people can't pass each other on the sidewalk because he's taken out 90% of it. You either have to walk in the street or stand on the corner until the person approaching you walks thru his "patio" barrier. It's single file on a very wide sidewalk because he apparently owns 90% of it.

OT ... I think there needs to be reform in the COPA office. One of their employees was arrested today for Burglary and Looting from the August 10 incidents. I am demanding that COPA be defunded and that all COPA employees get civilian oversight and that they must be licensed by the state. These are not requests they are demands .

Many of the comments I have read mention that "other businesses are doing it" or "Tunney is a friend of CPD" the truth for me is I have no real knowledge of this. What I do know is that regular citizens are really pissed at rules (not laws) implemented by politicians who profess to having our best interests in mind that the darn politicians don't even adhere to and basically flaunt their indifference to the regular citizens circumstances. All politicians who do not abide by the rules they want us to follow should be outed.
I went to an expensive, elitist, extremely Liberal leftist private school here in Chicago. The teachers and many students, parents were always trying to force some terrible Lib Leftist cause of the week on us students. It's now the same with this terrible Antifa, BLM BlackLiesMatter "woke" "movement".
I read that one particular pushy, bad Lib BLM Kindergarten teacher at my former school is brainwashing her kindergarten class on this BLM #*$&#@, having her 5 year olds put up memorials to dead drug dealer, addict George Floyd and she's basically abusing these 5 year old Kindergarten students that the police are Racist and they hunt down and kill Black people for no reason.
Outside of me just writing letters to the private school administrators, alumni networks, does anyone have any practical suggestions for what I/we could do?
How about a protests with signs outside of the school?

Revisionist history. He called the commander and asked how to get his license back because he needed it to fly. Commander overreacted and sent a sergeant to his office with it. How do I know? I was in his office getting parking passes and was there when the sergeant walked in and and I eavesdropped. Tunney was shocked and kept apologizing. I also heard him say who he was on the phone with when he got pulled over.

FYI Use Snipping Tool to grab images, menus, puill downs etc and whole pages off your desktop. Microsoft provides it with win 7 & 10. Very easy .......don't download it snip it. or you can try right clicking on an image and selecting "save image as"
