Another Groot-tacular Weekend
Again with the summer-type numbers:
- At least 40 people were wounded and six killed in shootings across Chicago over the weekend.
The Official Count from HeyJacvkass.com (the ONLY source for legit numbers) is as follows:
- Mostly Peaceful Tally: 7 killed, 36 wounded
We think we've figured out where part of the discrepancy always appears in these reports.
HeyJackass.com posts killed AND wounded, while the media says 40 got shot, but doesn't really specify that of those 40, 6 died and 34 remained as a burden to society.
This is why HeyJackass.com is doing the media's job far better than the media.

800 is a very distinct possibility. We’re at 747 as I type this. 53 more in 24 days is within reach. And The Supt. said he could see us at 300/yr. what a fool.

I'm watching Die Hard and realize that Deputy Chief Dwayne Robinson reminds me of Deputy Chief Michael Barz.
I find it amazing that this whole city is drowning in the everyday carnage, the wildings, the lockdowns, the failed public schools, the failed finances of the city, tax increases, et al. and it is just a few people (our elected representatives) are holding millions of people hostage.
Any CEO of a major corporation would be removed for much less by the shareholders.
The MSM has been given explicit instruction by Mayor not to publish number actually killed. She knows that there would much more national blowback if those numbers were released after each weekend. She really wants that place in Harris/Biden administration. You can only hope she gets picked.

The lying corrupt liberal media should start the news cast off with 800 dead and 4000 shot along with the expressway shootings in this shithole city instead of the China virus numbers. Maybe Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram could report this and inform civilized citizens of this dangerous city.
She really never mentions the carnage that she and Kim Foxx have helped flourish. Not sure how you don’t give two shits of a body count that is more than Los Angeles and New York City combined. Hell , the 01th District has more murder than some large US cities. It is honestly embarrassing that this goes on in what Groot calls a world class city. What exactly makes Chicago world class, is it the 3,300 people shot and over 700 killed?Is it the fact that pretty much anyone that gets arrested for felony offenses gets out of jail with either an I-Bond or a ridiculously low bond? Is it the incompetent politicians that constantly fuck things up or contradict their own orders? Is it the highest taxes in the country? I could go on and on and on on how bad this city is. The end result is that no normal , law abiding citizen will want to live here , so the end result is no tax base.

We believe there are several reasons for the differences, 1) timeframe, we have always used Friday 12p - Monday 6a. Others vary with something mid-to-late afternoon on Friday through early Monday morning-ish. CPD goes with 6p Fri - 12a Mon. 2) Our killed number includes other types of homicides, stabbings, beatings, etc... whereas everyone else is only concerned with shootings. 3) It doesn't appear as if anyone counts selfies. If some 17yo gangbanger blows his nuts off while pulling his POS pistol from his waistband, it counts. Same goes for self defense and police-involved shootings. 4) We don't copy and paste the CPD's press release and call it reporting.

Hey Jackass estimates the cost to Chicago taxpayers for this year's carnage to date is $215-MILLION dollars. By midnight December 31st it'll pencil out to nearly one quarter BILLION dollars for 2020.

Shouldn’t the three people that died in the traffic crash on Roosevelt Road be counted as murders ? They were being shot at and chased when their car crashed killing them. Bullet holes to their car. I heard one of the dead had a bullet wound as well. How is this not a murder ?

They didn’t track the part time mayor for her whereabouts and man, that would make for a good story. Most of the politicians in America deserve to be tarred, feathered, and run out of town. 748 now, 22 days left at 2 per day, that would put it at 792. I have faith in at least one more big weekend before the end of the year. Have faith my friend. Despite Christmas being cancelled and the nippy wind predicted for Saturday, they can still shoot from the comfort of their automobile, drive by style. And the real cool brothers have those real warm coats left over from one of their successful "protests" downtown.
