Readers will remember we didn't appreciate Google-me when he was here as the political mouthpiece of the Department, but this was a priceless jab at what he left behind for greener pastures on the east coast (click for larger version):

We have confirmed via numerous sources that Brownie and Carter completely missed Day One and then ducked out of Day Two after the first stop. Anything else you hear - especially from the CPD Twitter feed - is an ass-covering in progress.

what do you expect from a man (Superintendent) who does not want anyone to say hello to him, does not want anyone to look into his eyes, and thinks he knows everything? I was overseas when my Dad was killed in Chicago. When I arrived on the East Coast on an Air Force plane, my Group Commander was waiting for me on the tarmac with a plane ticket that he and his Officers had "chipped in" for "out of pocket".
If you want good people to follow you, you have to lead, 24/7, in all situations. It isn't all about barking orders and mission accomplishment. If you treat your people and their families right when it really counts, they will follow you to hell in any battle.
You don't have 24/7 leaders in Chicago. You have weak-assed political filth that wears over-adorned uniforms without feeling ashamed, just like every 2-bit Dictator in the third world, ripe for a coup.

He's correct Dennihan is all about self. He's a great test taker but he's self-serving if you know him well how many homicides did he solve as a Detective? What did he do as a Sergeant working midnights in Area 2. It's nice to have Ed Burke via his St.Rita connection hook-up.

How many homicides does any Detective "solve"? What did he do in Area 2 on midnights? Possibly as much or more than the drunks and part-timers he was supervising. Mad that someone with integrity, that actually works an honest shift finally got something? You are a huge moron.
