For the first time EVER neither the Superintendent [n]or the First Deputy bothered to attend Operation Santa today. Apparently they both had more important things to do than to visit with the widows and children of our fellow police officers who were murdered serving this city.
Brown and Carter can never atone for not supporting the families of people like Bauer, Jimenez, Gary, Marmelejo,Smetana, Gordon and more... These men were all killed in the line of duty and left young children behind. It’s not too much to ask that when we lose one of our own that the Superintendent and First Deputy visit their families at Christmas.

There are certain things you have to do when you're in charge of one of the largest municipal police departments in the nation. A department that has given approximately five-hundred-fifty lives in service to Chicago.

These two assholes couldn't even make it through a couple of hours on a weekend while the families have to live 24/7/365 without their Fallen Officer. Might I add this was a 6 hour convoy drive/ 1-2 hour flight in a bird. But the point is they CAME out of ALL places and all TROOPS they visited it was US, the motherfucking US of A his own troops we serve. Lightfoot has disappointed the vast majority of Chicago citizens with her hate, incompetence, lack of a sole and abrasive dictator personality. As far as bosses go I saw Matt Cline and Deenihan who in my opinion is one of the nicest and caring guys on the job. I guess the rest of the Chiefs are too busy to show up. This was the last year for my younger grandson because he's 21 and will be graduating college next year. His mother sent me pics but of course because of covid it wasn't the same. My husband and I always enjoyed having the whole group at our house and made sure everyone came in, where we fed them and had some good conversations. As you all know things are so different because of how police are being treated, which is a total disgrace. We always had a Super in attendance and it always made our family feel like Mike wasn't forgotten. I'll rephrase that, his guys in 11 have always remembered Mike and our family even after 16 years which helps us deal with his loss.
