2020 Closes
It looks like Chicago will finish just below 800. But have no fear - if history is any indicator, they city will hit 800 for 2020 around halfway through 2021. HeyJackass.com explains:

I predict that the democratic politicians will double down on their social justice nonsense looking to blame everything except their failed policies for the rising violence.

I predict a 30% increase in violent crime compared to already record-high 2020 levels in all major Democrat-run US cities. The suburbs will also see a 30 to 40 percent rise in property crime, and a lesser but notable spike in robbery/rape/homicide, as the mayhem spills over. The liberal elite are starting to realize that they've unleashed a monster, but there is little they can do to control it at this point. They stayed high in 2017 but did not eclipse 2016. 2018 had a big drop and 2019 was a massive drop. 2020 had covid and Minnesota and massive protests and looting. 2021 will start quick but not be as bad as 2020. FYI you can retire any day you want. Any day of the week or any date. They canny make you work after you reach eligible retirement age
Think of it this way. You turn 63 on a Sunday say the 5th of the month. That’s the day you retire

Well the really good news is that about 750really bad people are no longer any problems for society. That leaves the other 40as question marks as to their character.
