The elite powerful and protected and immune from the scabs of society while the lower class suffered. It finally took an old school "cop", Dredd, to arrive and change things. We are all just watching the movie play out.

Just read the story about Fed getting robbed. This has caused me to become a defund the police advocate. Article ends with the statement that robbery Kia was spotted by police and they were told not to pursue. If you cannot stop, chase or pursue in car or on foot who needs the CPD? City could save a whole lot of money by eliminating the current Scarecrow CPD. Sorry people but it has come to this. Words yet is the Chicago justice system, in the unlikely event the CPD does actually arrest someone most probably no charges will be allowed or if actually charged please down nothing but probation. Then the new matter on no cash bail is about to hit the fan. So law and order in Chicago is dead. Therefore no need for police force or justice system being funded. That money can no go to the rat hole south and west side to pretend to be making a difference.

Want to put a stop to all the carnage in the big cities? Just declare all gangs as terrorist organizations and make it a Federal crime to be a gang member. Build more hard time prisons and lock the gangs up for a very long time minimum of 15 years for gang affiliation at first arrest. Any juvy over 14 gets adult time.
