What's that Flushing Sound?
We will never ever see a less-lethal shotgun again:
- A jury awarded $3.75 million in damages this week to a protester shot
twice with hard-foam projectiles fired by Los Angeles police during
demonstrations in 2020.
Jurors on Wednesday ruled that the LA Police Department was negligent when one or more of its officers fired the so-called less-lethal devices at Asim Jamal Shakir Jr., the Los Angeles Times reported.
Shakir had been filming a police skirmish line when he recognized his LAPD officer uncle among the formation and confronted him, shouting, "Our ancestors are turning over in their grave right now!" Shakir alleges that his uncle, Eric Anderson, then directed other officers to fire a hard-foam projectile at him.
Civil rights attorney Carl Douglas, who filed the suit on Shakir's behalf, said he hopes the sizable damages awarded will signal that similar acts of police violence cannot be tolerated. The award must still be approved by the City Council.
Frankly, we're surprised if SWAT still has them either. Blue shitholes have surrendered the Rule of Law to the mob, and until we start seeing some vigilante-type repercussions it's going to be this way for the foreseeable future.

I'm all for vigilante-type repercussions with all of these shitheads. The police just has to look the other way when we apply justice to these shitheads all over.
SWAT stands for “Sit Wait And Talk”.
It’s no surprise they simply bore offenders into custody.
Time and distance plus retreat.
I’m sure todays SWAT teams are proud of the work they do.
Not something any true Chicago Cop has any interest in, just a spot for boners to talk about gear all day, train a bit, and not really do much on the street.
When it hits the fan give me a good gang team any day over SWAT.
Won’t look as cute, but gets better, and faster results.
There will be no vigilante type repercussions.
The CPD is still too much of an obstacle.
The rest of city/county/state governments are default obstacles, via their policies.
These policies barely tolerate a victim defending themselves.
For vigilante style reprecussions to be effective, they must be applied as preventative.
Prevenative is not reactive.
It is a step that exceeds the proactivity of law enforcers of old.
Thus, not possible at this time.
Of course, these newly arrived migrants may not be as prudent in their evaluation of what is an obstacle to themselves.
As always, these shithead liberals are very generous awarding large amounts of money, when it isn’t theirs’ But, the stupid tax payers are just as ignorant for not putting a stop to this. The winners, typical ghetto trash who think they’ve won the National Slum Lottery. Free money for everyone. These blue cities get what they deserve.
Tell me that Asim and his LAPD Uncle didn't cook that whole lawsuit up? It sure feels like some people fixed that ghetto lottery.
Ship those shotguns to the social workers on the proposed Behavior Crisis Intervention Teams.
I bet Christmas holidays are a little awkward between the two.
During the 1980s, 90s and early 2000s lots of R&D and money went into less-lethal weapons and munitions since American police can no longer use fire-hoses. They were developed specifically for the lawlessness that we see today. Unfortunately, the Far-Left and SJWs suspected they were way too effective and labelled these tools as "military hardware". This is a major victory for the Free Shit Army and ANTIFA. 2024 is going to be an absolute nightmare and I really fear for the Milwaukee Police at the RNC in July.

at least I got to laugh this morning
More money thrown away and Nordstrom in SF California announced they are closing their 5 stories tall store along with many other stores closing due to liberal crime wave happening unabated! The only power we have is the vote (If they don't steal another election) use it wisely!
I like that Uncle! We need more of him !
The jurors, members of the communities affected by the burning, looting etc, made this decision to give away almost $4 million of tax dollars. They get what they asked for in my opinion and contribute to the decline of society and the problems it causes. Anyone who believes that a police officer should be doing his or her best to make a community safe is delusional.
Ah, this is what it's like when you have a shithead in your own family.
As Deadpool put it: "Stupid! Worth it!"
When was the last time anyone saw the LRAD out? What’s wrong with that less than leathal force?
Good uncle.
That’s Easy Money!
are nerf guns and plastic whiffle bats too dangerous a replacement?

what if we replace batons with 36 inch long balloons to beat offenders into submission will that work
Should have used the real ones
Israel still uses rubber bullets when dispersing Palestinians. If one catches one in the eye it kills em.
Shooting the kid with the foam ball was bullchit. The kid suing and winning is a mountain of bullchit. If the kid needed an attitude adjustment, he should have been smacked upside the head, like any good uncle would do to some snot-nosed kid acting disrespectful.
The Original, Good Old Fashioned HARD Synthetic Rubber Projectiles, fired from a 40 mm Grenade
Launcher are much to be preferred.
“Civil rights attorney Carl Douglas” Was everyone, “Kung Fu Fighting”
Vigilante-type repercussions? As much as cops complain about not being able to do their jobs AND as well as they know how the law enforcement system works, I'm honestly surprised there aren't (or aren't more) rogue cops. THOSE would be the true heroes. The rest are just typical government union employees & a private army for the politicians.
Would love to be at their Thanksgiving dinner.
The full force of the law will crash down on any vigilantes. Chicago is no country for old men.

Run silent
Run deep
Float like butterfly
Sting like bee
Who knows what lurks in the minds of man
The Shadow knows......
Never should have ever started up with that "less than lethal" bullshit. Stop, or I'll shoot is all we needed.
Gotta love society. Form a large riot, not a protest, throw bricks, bottles, fireworks, etc at Police and start fires all over burning cars, businesses, etc… and you award said moron money for being there in the first place and getting hurt while causing mayhem.

How about if the Old Men joined the "Didn' see nuffin" crowd and the criminal is unable to tell anyone what happened?
Or maybe it's time to bring back Tony Durango-esque solutions to the crime problem?

There's a Charles Bronson somewhere out there in the city ready to send these shitbags to the devil.
