Blame Everyone Else
Democrat governance is merely an extortion game:
- One of largest and most successful companies based in New York State is now in the crosshairs of its Attorney General, Letitia James.
James was in Buffalo Wednesday to announce the state has filed a lawsuit against PepsiCo Inc., which she claims is an effort to protect the environment and public health.
The Attorney General's lawsuit claims that single-use plastics used as packaging by PepsiCo, one of the largest and most successful companies headquartered in New York State, have allegedly contributed to high levels of plastic pollution along the Buffalo River, which they say contaminates drinking water and harms wildlife.
The language of the complaint largely mirrors the language used by environmental groups in California, which filed a similar suit against PepsiCo and several other companies on the same grounds over a year ago.
This is completely legal packaging, used for decades, on a completely legal product. PepsiCo has nothing to do with the packaging or the product once it's sold....it's yours. Whether or not you recycle it or throw it out the car window as your drive is not PepsiCo's responsibility. They got their product to market safely, freshly and available for sale.
But if leftists can extort companies like this for money via nuisance suits, what else can they use it on?
Oh yeah....gasoline powered cars, gas stoves, gas water heaters, air conditioners......and guns.
UPDATE: Or when the dems sued Kia for making cars too easy to steal....all the while refusing to adequately prosecute car thieves and carjackers.

I used to work at cook county department of corrections. stuff like this makes me want to have multiple bug out bags. Just in case i have to escape the city to my trailer park down south. I always make sure my wifes truck has plenty of gas so we can bug out in a moments notice. Everytime I have to work on my monday I also bug out to my trailer park and call off. Typical Democrat shakedown of companies to gain political control. They just did this to the car companies claiming their cars were easy to steal instead of going after the people (Democrat voters) who are stealing the cars. This is how our new communist government will work.

Remember. Not sure about state, but federal fines never go against the government debt. They can be used at the administrations' discretion. Mostly to voting organization charities aligned with the Dems. They fund the get out the vote initiatives, otherwise known as ballot harvesting.
Glass bottles are much better throwing weapons. Back to glass. Or offer refund on plastic containers, problem solved very quickly.
Just offer return deposits. Problem solved.

It was the same shit with Pricktinkle, charging for plastic bags because they were flying all over the place as garbage. Fuck them all.
Go back to the old days of everything bottles, then return them for a return deposit. Used to be like 5-10 cents a bottle returned. This would be just an incentive to help in recycling and cleaner neighborhoods.

Cut it at least 50/50 with your favorite other beverage, or merely with water.
Unless you like the carbonation bubbles returning thru your sinus's.
Freeze it into cubes, straight from the bottle.
Cut 50/50 half of a bottle, freeze the now half filled bottle almost solid, then, bang it on some hard but not pointy/sharp surface and you got Slushies.
See a 2 liter bottle as a flavor source fluid begging to be diluted from it's too concentrated sweetness.
Think like an old school mother with 10+ thirsty kids.

Extortion is extortion, no matter who and how it's done.
Governments are just the people who do it best, as in taxations, with shit people doing the extortings, aka representings....
