Memphis Crime
Crime is so out of control in Memphis that police chief CJ Davis doesn’t think the Army can save the day.
OutKick readers know the situation in Memphis is far past bad. It’s downright appalling, and a stain on the entire country that criminals seem to run roughshod in a major American.
Below are a few recent examples of the carnage and chaos:
- Doctor gunned down in front of his family
- Eliza Fletcher brutally murdered
- Brawls at Topgolf
- Gunman who killed four people had been cut loose early from prison
- Interview derailed by drive-by shooting
- Nine-year-old child shot
We think the chief should have added a footnote or two:
- First, it depends on which era's army he's talking about. Up until about three or four years ago, we're pretty sure the regular army could have kicked ass
- Second, what are the Rules of Engagement? The last significant deployment of troops on US soil was the Rodney King riot. Army troops with a free hand would calm Memphis down in a couple days with significant casualties and infrastructure damage.
We're thinking there might be some sizable background deployment of troops for the political conventions here and in Milwaukee.

Manhunt underway after Memphis shootings leave at least 4 dead, police say
Police said they were searching for Mavis Christian Jr., 52, the suspect.
A manhunt was underway after a string of shootings across Memphis, Tennessee, left four women dead and one in critical condition Saturday evening, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting on Howard Drive at about 9:22 p.m., the Memphis Police Department said.
"Through the course of the investigation, it has been determined that this scene and two other recent shooting scenes are connected and involve the same suspect," police said.
The existing Memphis Police could easily control the street crime in their Big Blue Sh!thole. All they need to do is STOP RELEASING CRIMINALS ON NO BAIL!!!
The same 1,000 street criminals are committing 80-90% of the crimes, and they are out there day after day, doing crime. Lock them up for the crime you caught them for, and you prevent the hundreds of crimes they do not commit in the year or more while they await trial or when they go to prison after they plead out.
I bet the TN National Guard could clean up the crime situation in Memphis pretty quickly. Especially if they start with City Hall and the Legislature too.

Put an infantry squad on every corner during the DNC, and equip every Hummer with either a machine gun or Mk. 19 grenade launcher. Have multiple companies of mechanized troops ready to roll out to back up the hot spots. The goal is not to kill anyone. The goal is to stop rioting before it starts. Overwhelming force works. Rioters and criminals will go home and hide.

A very odd strategy.
Compel the weak minded to submit to this essentially combined culling, tagging and sorting, which then results in default identifying the not weak minded, tho leaving these unscathed by this applied tech, so, to what end?
Only the strong then survive?

Put a CROW system turrent that shoots out tear gas at the protestor and then pull up the MRAPs for large scale water cannons. The shitbag protestors can't break down up-armored multi stacked plated and glassed military vehicles if you want them to flee.
