Repeat Offender
The guy whose mugshot CWB posted the other day? Not his first rodeo:
- A suspected car thief was arrested this week after he was stranded in the car he stole.
Mergim Mehmeti, 27, of Skokie now faces one felony count of burglary after he was accused of breaking into car-related businesses in Skokie early Tuesday morning.
Police said he stole a Mercedes Benz from a car shop and hours later, police got a call about a stranded motorist.
Police said the driver turned out to be Mehmeti, who was then arrested.
He's gotten a new barber since his previous arrest:
When you're this bad at being a car thief, perhaps it's time to consider a change of careers.
And nice to see Crimesha still isn't incarcerating criminals, leaving them free to commit more crimes.

To bad they didn’t end this pos life.
Nothing to see here just moving along. Crimesha again refusing to do her job, her staff absent, judges probably out golfing or on vacation, crooks county done! With all of this why are there still employees at the jail, state’s attorneys office? We should have multi-million in tax savings massive layoffs. With all the space at the jail move the illegals in, they would have their own apartments in a gated community toilets, water food they would like this especially the ones let out of insane asylum and tough prisons in South America!
CWB has, what I would consider, two headlines with the offender being released after committing violent crimes. Thanks Black Caucus. Maybe they can raise the taxes on those victims to pay for the crimes being committed.
Brother is deity to Barack?
We thought that under the not safe act that if you do another crime while out on an NTA that you had to be locked up....not so?
Per the SAFE-T Act this kid will NEVER be held. Will never be deemed a threat to a specific person for auto theft. Even if he does it 1,000x.
Thanks, Pritzker, you fat prick.
Sorry - formatting got all fxcked up

SAFE-T Act Standards for pretrial detention
• Standard 1. Release on Recognizance – pretrial detention only if specific, real and present threat to a person OR has a high likelihood of willful flight.
o Must it be a specific person?
o “specific, real and present threat” not defined through case law yet.
• Standard 2. Detainable Offenses
o Offender must be in one of six crime categories AND meet the standard of threat. OR felony (but not class 4 felony) + high likelihood of flight
725 ILCS 5/110-6.1 https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/fulltext.asp?DocName=072500050K110-6.1
1. Forcible felony (but sentence must mandate imprisonment without probation, etc.) + requirement for “specific, real and present threat to any person or the community”
o (specific person requirement? No, I don’t think so)( not defined through case law yet.) The rest of the article rips on the specific person requirement, so maybe there is a specific person requirement ???) but the language is different
2. Stalking
3. Domestic victim
4. Domestic battery
5. Sex offense
6. Charged with “any of these violations under the Criminal Code of 2012” + “real and present threat to the physical safety of any specifically identifiable person or persons”
• Standard 3. Petition to Deny pretrial release
o State has the burden of proving by clear and convincing evidence
Likely committed the crime
Threat to specific person (not true for forcible felonies?)
Threat of willful flight
Product of CPS.
Useless creature, may his master, Lucifer, petition him down under.
Voting has its consequences.
