Force Lawful Contributions

Maybe FOP should look into this?

Yeah, chances of actually seeing this through an Illinois court are close to nil.

FLOP ain’t gonna do shit with this. Just like they ain’t been doing shit with much lately (what’s up with all the committees? Where did they all go? Nobody wanna participate anymore? How come? Questions, questions, ROTFLMFAO!!). They’re too busy circling the wagons with their financial indiscretions slowly coming full circle. Ida Robert Sam says immunity don’t apply to non-profit organizations. Remember all you soul selling sycophants of the Catanzara Cabal, the coverup is always worse than the crime. Will you do the right thing when the time comes? Tick tock…….

Hope they are successful, but at the rate they spending money on the migrants there will be no money left for anything. The problem metastasizes by the day. The only solution is a change of the administration and elected officials who will deport these invaders. When a dam breaks you need to clean up the flood, you don’t keep pumping more water into the area. After dealing with the cleanup you can then start reconstruction.

The pension is a Poinzi scheme. The pyramid is now upside down. The base is smaller then those collecting on top. When the pension system began there were more paying then collecting. Officers stayed till 63 and you had to pry thier fingers off the steering wheel to make them leave, and they did not make 5 years retired before passing. Now they leave at 50 or 55 running from the city and collect 20-30 years before passing. Does not take a CPA to figure out that the pension systems are unsustainable. Even a CPS drop-out can figure that out. The state and the taxpayer are screwed. So they have devalued money and what it is worth by inflating cost of goods the infusion of money to the market and raising taxes. Catanzara cant roll back time or stop the Government from devaluing your assets. When the market corrects we are all screwed. The reset is coming, and they will blame on crisis of thier own making like the pandemic or invading migrant crisis.

SSC, education is key!

It is not the FOPs job to do this it is the Pension Boards. The Pension Board has already done this the last few years. They use the Intercept Law to make sure the City is paying the fund their obligated amount that is defined by the pension code to ramp it up. It is in the hundreds of millions of dollars every year that the City is obligated to pay. Possibly over a billion now.

Every year the City “short changes” the fund the obligated amount and then the fund goes to court using the Intercept Law to force the City to pay the full amount. The City claims when taxes that are owed to the City that are earmarked for the pension, are not paid, it’s that amount that they do not have to pay. The City interprets it that since deadbeat people do not pay they are not obligated to pay the fund what has not been collected tax wise.

The Pension fund then must take them to court to get the unpaid amount and the court has sided with the fund for the unpaid amounts and payments are made

This is all defined in the pension code already to get the fund up to 90 some percent fund sometime around 2055.

Knowledge is power.

You might want to go and look at the pension fund meeting minutes to see what is going on with the payments from the city. The city made all of their legally required payments in calendar year 2023 of 799.4 million. The city has also said that they have budgeted for 851 million for calendar year 2024 as required by law. They have said that they will make an additional payment of 79.9 million in 2024 for a total of 931 million to out pension fund.

The 2033-24 winter has been one of the mildest on record. The city will save about sixty million dollars in snow removal fees. Also it has almost a years worth of salt, which will save millions for the next winter season. Total savings will be in the area of one hundred million bucks. Brandon’s not talking. What will the money be spent on?

How many pensions are already in the toilet?? Young guys don’t want to get involved & in 20,25,30 years they hang up their gun belt & find out no pension. What will you do? People are living longer meaning there’s a burden ALREADY on the pension system & then our government decides to take care of their pet projects. Doesn’t follow the law what are you going to do then?? I see comments like isn’t it illegal to not fund the pension plan? Ok who are you going to arrest? In Mississippi a town had to decide to either pay existing employees or the retirees…… no matter what that’s bad, if you are working you may not be paid & the retirees weren’t paid. So why would you keep working there, every paycheck is a crapshoot & you won’t get a pension. It could happen anywhere again look at Dietroit city bankrupt & pensions not funded for awhile

2017 IL App (1st) 153074, 96 N.E.3d 1, 420 Ill.Dec. 196. (2017)
IL Appellate Court found the trial court ruled property Harvey violated the 1996 Agreement to fund the Pension, the Pension's statutory right to funding, that the trial court properly calculated damages, and that the trial court properly rejected Harvey's attempt to dismiss the case. The Appellate Court also upheld the trial court's injunction against the City forcing them to pay into the Pension Fund.

“LOSER STATE': O'Leary says he will never invest in NY after Trump fraud ruling”. On Youtube

Shark Tank Host, and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary has hit the airways on different programs where he spoke about what happened to Trump and the insane court verdict against him. He said even if you take Trump out of the mix in NY it is still a loser state for businesses. Never do business there. People are and businesses are fleeing because of mainly what the politicians are doing to it. He said he will never ever do business in the following three LOSER states, New York, California and ILLINOIS! Can you believe that.

He said some of the best states would be Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma and South Dakota. Where does Pritzker keep his billions invested?

Let’s see the Philadelphia Plan , hold the line , buying $4,500 steaks for votes at the National Conference , withholding ballots that were delivered the day of the election , lying about Kevin Graham , booting two workers out of the office with serious medical conditions , kicking seniors off the voting rolls , illegally buying a food truck to buy votes , and now prohibiting members to view the money spent . You think these guys really are concerned about your pension ? This guys wiping out all of the members money and you think he cares ? You have nine field reps up there who do what ? Cops don’t get involved but allow people who are multiple police board visitors to decide their future . You get what you deserve ! 👍

Bunch of BS.Illinois has already seized all the "downstate" pensions, that is those not with the City of Chicago. Fire and police no longer control what happens to their own pension money, only fat ass and his cronies. The "downstate" pension systems have lost in court all the way up thru the supremes in Springfield...and lost. That means pension systems like Niles PD & FD Arlington Hts, PD and FD and every other cities pension is now controlled by fat ass. Money is being transferred to the state as I speak. Supposedly this is to remedy the shortfalls in some systems... Take from Peter to pay Paul. Or JB in this case.

Got news for you that the cops on the job now, does very little for the funding of the pension. Their contributions are minuscule compared to what’s needed. Without the city properly funding it, it will not survive. The city has to step up the payments. If the city would stop giving away all the money to the illegal migrants, things would be a little better

What I understand, if there is a group of "same size departments", they try to help pull that other departments pension back up as a whole from insolvency? I could be wrong but I believe I heard that from a rollcall when they spoke of Dolton/Harveys issues to save their pension crisis. It would make sense because it would put the burden on the union as a whole, and not the towns individually.

Lets see what happens when the cities and states can't pay police officers and firemen. Let's see how quick the guys in the car find out they can't get their checks coming in to pay their bills because the city finds a loophole. Yeah. The city thought the covid issue wasn't a problem until it was, the city isn't stupid enough to let a pension go insolvent into bankrupt state. Imagine having a city having their checks and money go bad to the biggest union that can't strike? Hmmmm. Can't strike? But I can't get paid because of shitty liberal governments non-existent money? Does that mean I can go home? Can't be working for free nor am I a slave. I'll just let this place burn until they pay me. Not gonna happen. The city isn't that stupid to let something like this happen long term, let alone short. Someone will be just footing the bill, aka use middle class and business chumps.

What some may not realize is that per contract and upon retirement your pension is calculated by the “highest” 4 years of your salary of the last 10 years of your employment. So let’s just say hypothetically a DC is demoted back to lieutenant their pension will be that of a Deputy Chief as long as their retirement is within the calculated “4 highest years of their past 10 years”. So they can work 6 years as a lieutenant (depending on their age) and still receive a Deputy Chief pension. Hence some gold braids retiring young. Also this is why “family and friends” are promoted so they can receive the “gold braid” pension. It’s the contract so go for that fucking promotion so you can receive a higher pension.

If (when) the city starts handing out IOUs instead of paychecks, you're faced with a choice:
A) Risk your life (and potentially your assets and your freedom) and get nothing for it.
B) Sit on your ass safe at home and get nothing for it (or, next to nothing from unemployment).

You can't strike but, you can quit.

Chicago police pension was specifically addressed in the State and put in black and white what the responsibilities of the city are. It will be made up to somewhere around 90% whole around 2050. If the city has to sell off property/buildings or anything else...it has to be done.

Keep in mind, if the city claims bankruptcy...the are required by law to open all financial books to federal/state auditors. Somehow....with all the shady shit going on through city hall....they will never allow the city to go bankrupt because of that fact.
