- Hundreds of migrants staying at five Chicago Park District facilities serving as temporary shelters will soon be moved to other locations to reopen those park sites to the public.
Mayor Brandon Johnson's office said, beginning Saturday, migrants currently living in the field houses at Gage Park in the neighborhood of the same name, Broadway Armory Park in Edgewater, Brands Park in Avondale, Leone Park in the Rogers Park neighborhood, and Piotrowski Park in Little Village will be moved to other shelters "over the next several weeks."
"After all shelter residents have been transitioned to another shelter, the Park District will begin restoring the facilities and resuming park programming and other park operations at each of the five locations currently used as temporary emergency shelters," Johnson's office said in a news release.
Golly, taxpayers getting to use the Parks that they pay for via exorbitant taxes.

The taxpayers are going to wish the illegal aliens stayed in the parks after they see the insane amounts of taxpayers’ dollars that will be used to pay private leases to house these illegal law breaking assholes. These assholes keep calling family members to keep coming to the good ole USA for the free shit Illinois’ politicians keeps giving them … free housing, free food, free education for their kids, free phones, etc etc etc … all paid for by the taxpayers of Illinois or taken away from the poor USA citizens who need the tax dollars.
Moving the mooches from the parks will just cost more. Park rent costs were cheaper. How much longer will Cook County, Chicago and Illinois keep paying for GROWN able bodied men and women in their 20’s and 30’s who are coming here Illegally at such high rates that their numbers cannot be absorbed by our bankrupt governments? Seriously, GROWN adults being babied and coddled at the expense of Illinois taxpayers and poor Illinoisans?

For you Northwest siders, a week ago I went to the Walgreens at Touhy and Cumberland and saw this 3rd world guy m/4 sitting on the parkway with what appeared to be a newborn baby in his lap. So I stopped at a relative’s house in Park Ridge for about 2 hours and told them what I saw. They said you should see the migrants at the Marianos at Touhy & Higgins. So on the way home I drove into the parking lot and a group of migrant women were begging at the entrance to the Cumberland side tying up traffic and people were giving them money. So I drive toward the front of the store and see the same guy holding up this baby or a doll, to people going into the store. I drove by too quickly to discern if it was real or not, but it was very small. They must have a car or someone drives them.
A few years ago I had some errands to do in the Loop so I parked on Desplaines as the meters were cheaper. So I see this guy and his dog begging in the west end of the Loop. He was sitting on the sidewalk with one leg covered as if it was missing. So I did my errands and now I see the same guy and dog about an hour later now begging in the east end of the Loop blocking the sidewalk. So if he had one leg, a dog and all his belongings how did he make it blocks away. These people are really clever!

I think you misunderstand. The people from Gage park are just moving to Leone park, etc. That way they get to see more of the city.
Those north-side white progressive-democrat moms are all in favor of accommodating recently-arriving migrants, so long as they're not housed in THEIR neighborhood, so long as it's not inconvenience for THEM, so long as THEIR precious kids aren't negatively affected in any manner.
Summer is coming! Enrollment in those all-day Park District summer-camps must not be jeopardized by Sanctuary City demands! These mothers need that cheap summer daycare! Do not cross the white progressive-democrat mom!
Mayor's Office has been alerted, swift action will be taken to keep summer-camp offerings to north-side.
Our progressive friends in Edgewater were outraged that Broadway Armory was seized for migrant housing purposes. Absolutely furious. Upset about the migrant panhandlers on Broadway too. Edgewater now has million-dollar houses, but working-class predominantly-immigrant neighborhood history. Edgewater is largely now a white-collar dual-income college-educated household enclave.

I used to work with Hotels/Restaurants and the prior illegals went to 26th Street and got fake IDs, This BS that the Biden Illegals need work permits is BS, I see these Venezuela's panhandling everyday .They have no skills .

There is an older black guy who is always begging at the entrance of the Jewel in Wicker Park, in between Ashland and Milwaukee. One night, someone, probably a friend or relative, pulls up in a decent car to pick him up for his ride home.

I overheard the manager of the TJs say she had to tell the Girl Scouts they couldn’t set up a table near the entrance bc of the migrants begging. I wld guess corporate told them that there could be NO soliciting, period.
A migrant still lurks near the cart return, accepting “tips” for pushing your cart all of two feet.

Our expressways look like garbage dumps. Due to budget cuts for more important things like supporting illegals the state is not cleaning roads or cutting grass anymore. Put them to work cleaning the roads. Work off some of those billions, keep them outta trouble this summer and clean this post apocalyptic shitty up.
