He'd have statistics and charts and all sorts of info on the airwaves....

This was a one time fluke. The democratic machine in New York found a friendly judge to rule that their gerrymandered districts are ok and the seats will fall back to them this fall. The republicans also ran Santos who did flip one of those seats but he found himself in a bunch of legal problems. The stupid republicans forced him out of congress (he was a goof but still a solid republican vote) and in the replacement election for his seat a democrat was elected. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. The Republicans will not be happy until Jefferies is the new speaker of the house.

If race was even a small part of the reason, it's only because black candidates make everything about race and doing what's right for "their people" being locked up unfairly for committing crimes. Chicago elections are more about voting against a candidate than voting for a candidate.
She is a goof, but she will have the power. There will be zero investigations into any elected officials. That is her only roll. The rest they could care less about.

You start with "let's be honest" and then try to make it about race? If race was even a small part of the reason, it's only because black candidates make everything about race and doing what's right for "their people" being locked up unfairly for committing crimes. A white woman has to take a different approach than the racist nonsense black candidates push. I never have and never will vote for anyone based on their race, but I will absolutely refuse to vote for anyone who uses their race and imagined racism to change policies. If you want to find racism, it's not in the white voters, it's in the black candidates and the black voters who vote for anyone as long as they're black. That racism is the reason our city, county, state, and country are fucked right now. Learn to vote based on what will actually fix the problems plaguing our society, regardless of race, and maybe you'll see some improvement.

Would you care to share the point you think you're making? You can chuckle at me, because I already have a library card. Are you trying to blame "systemic racism" or slavery? I'm really struggling with the point you're trying to make due to you not saying anything about the point you're trying to make. Please diagnose the problem from your perspective. I'm sure it will be enlightening to those of us who understand what is actually happening in this country.
