Hope They Weren't Tourists
Downtown continues to devolve into a no-go zone:
- Two people were hospitalized early Saturday morning after a gunman opened fire into a fast food restaurant in the Loop. According to Chicago police, the shooting unfolded at a Taco Bell
Cantina in the 100 block of North Wabash Avenue, just after midnight.
Officers say the two victims were both hit by gunfire after an unknown individual fired shots into the restaurant. Officers say a 31-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg and a 40-year-old man was shot in his left shoulder. Both men were taken to the hospital in good condition.
Authorities did not provide a description of the gunman but said they believed it was a male.
Currently, it is unclear what led to the shooting and no arrests have been made. Authorities are now investigating the incident.
So as usual, beware of "males."

Clearly this incident was the gun's fault. Human beings can't be blamed for crimes such as this.
Beware of males with light complexions especially blonde or redish hair. They have a predisposition for violence and irrational behavior. Also, devout Catholic and pro-life one’s are the worse. Seriously, the news has been conveying this to me and society.
One should not go into any business in the Loop, Streeterville, River North etc., and end up being in a trap. You could be shot, stabbed, battered or robbed. I feel bad for the business owners but you need to look out for yourself.

Too bad those two were shot in the Taco Bell Catina before this march. Because if the shooter(s) would have experienced how people are coming together to stop gun violence they would have thought otherwise!

My wild guess is the two shot are probably some aspiring pharmacists selling some Maryjane, fentanyl laced cocine, etc... and the amish shooter was upset that someone is giving him a run for his money on his turf. Prove me wrong.
OT: How many shootings have occurred during this past week due to the P.R. fest? I know the main stream media will lie to us and state it was quiet. Any one that has worked In the 14th District in the past knows about the little riots and mayhem that occur on a nightly basis during the fest.
I think we need another safety plan from the dimwit mayor and the puppet sock Snelling. Just like Larry Leadfoot and Johnson changing weekly crime and safety plans like Conehead changes his sox's. By their own admission, they are at least 2000 police personnel short. One can only wonder about the city's DNC safety plans and their manpower, workability and effectiveness. Time will tell.
In the meantime, if the current DNC safety and crime reduction plans are similar to their weekly plans, then we are all in for a turbulent time. The "summer of fear" is upon us, and mob rule remains the effective handmaiden of the Democratic Party.
