People will complain about the Sgt’s exam and of course the 30% merit will suck but it was one of the most fair tests I have taken on this job. Much better than that joke of a detectives test.
Really encouraging and a kick in the teeth seeing all the politically connected and house mouse mistresses finish the exam in just over an hour while the grand majority of us needed at least 3-4 full hours. At least make it seem like you didn’t have the answers beforehand at least pretend and physically act like you’re writing for a couple hours, Capt obvious idiots.

Well she is a beauty consultant. She didn’t lie or did she? She’s self-employed. During the pandemic she was told not to work. Beauty consultants, beautician and the likes are self-employed. She had every reason to file for a PPP loan.
"Beauty Consutant" w/o an IL License, no real business registered in that name or at that address.
So just WTF is going on there? Wonder if she's paid her taxes on that money?

PPP = Paycheck Protection Plan (or Program) the amount of money you could get was based on your payroll records. If she didn't write herself a paycheck every month (pay fica etc) then she did not qualify.
A HUGE problem CPS has is when they shitcan and DNH bad behaving employees, (especially for PPP Loan Fraud) is they rarely try to have their ISBE licenses revoked and then these asswipes end up in another school district. Also, did IL ATG's office prosecute any of the 12 CPS employees let go/DNH'd for PPP Loan Fraud.
Everyone is still trying to figure out why the CPS OIG investigated CPS employees for PPP Loan Fraud when it didn't involve CPS money.
According to Chalkbeat Chicago, 4/12 CPS PPP Loan Fraudsters are back working in another IL school district.

She currently makes $85,000 a year, according to Flossmoor’s board documents.
2. Tamisha Bufford, Case manager for Dunbar Vocational Career Academy ($111,257). Bufford is currently listed as the director of student services at Country Club Hills School District 160, in Country Club Hills, Illinois.
3. Christina Bradley, Assistant Principal at Arthur Ashe Elementary School in 2020. ($117,273). Bradley is working as an instructional tutor at Hoover-Schrum Memorial School District 157 in Calumet City, Illinois.
4. Tosca Griffith, Director of Grant Operations and Fiscal Monitoring for CPS' Budget and Management Office in 2022. ($125,000). She worked in the Budget and Management Office. Moat recently, Griffith lists a job title for CPS as a charter schools funded programs manager.

Take it from an old guy it has always been like this get used to it or do something to impress that so called "boss" and then your in read the tea leaves! Retired as patrolman did not play the game but had my dignity and honor and respect which you don't have if you do it the evil way!
I didn’t mind the overall format of the exam, but I wish that every answer on that exam wasn’t subjective. Each correct answer was decided by the SME’s as to what the next best step would be for a sergeant. I’d love to know how many of the SME’s were appointed merit and/or actually worked the street.
I wonder if she used J. Green as her PPP loan mentor.

We live in a world now where you can be whatever you want to be and there will be no questions asked.

The scantron portion will not be factored into the final score at all. Your carbon copy is just a souvenir same as part 1. But more so make the process appear more “legit” then ever. The entire exam will be scored off of the written portion which was a total of TWO scenarios and few updates. You can bet at least 100-150 had prior knowledge of which scenarios will be on the exam. Our department Subject Matter Experts worked on this exam since January and surely not one shared test content with their pin cushions. And surely pin cushins haven't shared the info with their friends. So if you went in blind you then your chances of ranking within top 200 are extremely slim. So don’t feel too bad about scoring over a thousand. The process is rigged. Disclaimer: I would cheat as well if given an opportunity.
Looks like Conehead is helping her to payoff the loan..what a web we weave..(no pun intended).
I'd say half did not finish the test. I left with roughly 12 minutes to go and the room was still pretty full. A lot of reading. I can't complain this time. Everything went pretty smooth.
A lot of old timers at the test. This has to be the 3rd or 4th test for some of them. Hope they make it.

99% of CPD officers are fools who believe they still have a chance to make it the legit way. The cheaters aren’t even hiding it anymore. So much so the cheaters aren’t even willing to sacrifice 2 extra hours of their time to appear legit. Zero fucks given. Go get em’

I was very upset, I contacted NOBLE and requested a copy of the sgts test well before the test so I could prepare. But I never got it.
This program had the intention of assisting the many, many, many smallish businesses raped by the swampers connived and contrived murderous scamdemic.
Leave it to swamp rat administrators + natural born thieves to scam billions from us taxpayers.
To these, thou shalt not steal is completely contrary to their natures, especially when they steal from the payers of taxes.
ALL who receive taxpayers' monies should have those monies taxed, when received as unearned income, when spent, at retail or wholesale purchases, when any monetary transaction occurs with our tax payers' funding, including 'donations' to 'non-profit' 'charities', and, especially to political 'donations' of every sort.
You accept a tax funded dollar, you pay tax when you spend a tax funded dollar.

And the subjectivity of the exam was incredible as well. The answers are based on Subject Matter Experts I.e. a guy like Snelling who was the subject matter expert of use of force and never passed any promotional exams. Why would we trust the subject matter experts. How about we list their names here, who did CPD provide as the supposed “subject matter experts” for the test?
I checked the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and Denise Milloy is not a licensed cosmetologist. She was fined and reprimanded for practicing without a license. How did she get a PPP loan if she was unlicensed?
Less than half of the eligible members even signed up for the promotional test. Only 2800 sat for it. thats 1/3 of the department who bothered participating in the pony show. Not good. Morale can’t get any lower.
Reminder for everyone, no contract since 2017. Catanzara is a complete failure.

Look further into the PPP loans, Im sure that you will find a common theme among those who got the loans. ;)
But apparently no one really cares about defrauding millions of dollars from the Government.

Why would someone listen to an old guy who's telling you he retired at the same rank he started at? I didn't play the game either. I had no family or friends on the job and I had to move into the city to take the job. I did my job and with time I got very good at doing my job and it became easier. I didn't take the 1st Sgt test because I didn't think I had the skillset needed to be a good Sgt. 2nd test I studied hard and made it off score. Lt test I studied again and made it off score. Every test you take you will be fighting the merit and cheaters, but don't listen to an "Old guy" who says don't even try to advance so you can be like him. The only thing worse than a cheater is a quitter.

Well, take Angel Novales. Why is this guy the Chief of Constitutional Policing and Reform, and he doesn’t have a law background. These days you don’t have to qualify for the position. Just be the right race.
They finished test in an hour because they are dumb. They will receive a merit promotion.
