With the focus of all the protestors not running for office (potato brain), are the protestors even going to show up?
The dems can just make all sorts of vague statements when they march or storm the convention floor and deflect their concerns by promising them the moon.
It doesn't seem like a viable strategy, but you can bet Conehead is hoping for it.

I want to throw my hat into the ring for president. Can someone please do an article on what the minimum requirements are to be placed on a sheet of paper for the DNC to be voted upon?
Ex: Are there events that I must attend in the next week and to/from that must be written?
Nearly 15 million democrat primary voters were just disenfranchised. Instead of an election to choose the dem candidate, a selection by a handful of party elites occurred, instead. I hope & pray some of those disenfranchised voters come to Chicago to make their voices heard.
The protestors were on standby if Joe was still sentient in August. It's clear he's not. They've got him on ice until they get plan B or C or whatever in place because Trump wasn't supposed to turn his head at the last instant.
We live in VERY dangerous times, my friends. Be prepared, stay frosty and, above all, PRAY.

Protestors will still show up, Its the DEMORATIC stupid policies that they are after not just President mushy brains. As long as the Gaza war rages on the protestors will be there. Scc, its great to be hopeful but your asking for too much. Assholes will be assholes just to be that. Why waste a good opportunity.
Don't think this will be settled before the convention opens. Consider who has NOT jumped on *cough* the Kamala bandwagon:

* Obama
* Several big mega donors
Kamala can cackle over her "pledged" delegates all day long, but until the convention, it means absolutely nothing. Last Friday, they were pledged to Biden. Next Friday, they could be pledged to someone else. Whole lotta loose money floating around. Pritzker alone could buy enough of them off to make trouble. Backed by Obama, et al, there is not much Harris could do to fend it off.
The convention WILL be contested. The smarter end of the dem party is biding its time until a killshot presents itself at the vote.
Dem voters switched allegiances without blinking an eye once. They'll do it twice. But there will still be plenty of friction and raw tempers.

Just saw a couple news threats stating biden had a stroke and it doesn't look good.

I don’t believe all this party unity behind CoupMala for a second. The question is will some group or groups be brave enough to stand up to the deep state at the convention.
Do not be fooled by party affiliation and remember that anarchist and antifa don't really care. Their whole agenda is to wreak havoc and create confusion!

I heard a report that said there would be some early electronic voting by the delegates in order to make ballot deadlines in some states, so it will be over and done with before the convention even starts. A few coronation speeches and anti-Trump rhetoric at the convention.

If they get Kamala there will not be protests. At least no violent protests. Our week of DNC just got a whole lot easier and quieter.

And Kamala's husband being a Jewish man who additionally used his status to try to convince Columbia University's administration to stop the prohams from assaulting Jewish students may just inspire the "protesters" even more.
Food Not Bombs announced yesterday that the mostly peaceful protests will take place despite the resignation of "genocide Joe." The Netanyahu visit to Washington tomorrow will be telling, but no message will deter the protesters.
