CWB continues to hammer Conehead over the ShotSpotter contract:
ShotSpotter, the gunfire detection system that Mayor Brandon Johnson has decided to remove from the city’s most violence-troubled neighborhoods in September, continues to help CPD officers locate shooting scenes and illegally possessed guns.
On Independence Day, CPD first responded to a mass shooting in the 7100 block of South Woodlawn upon receiving a ShotSpotter alert. Dispatchers received calls from humans a full 90 seconds later. Audio recorded by the system’s microphones, shared with CWBChicago by a source, indicates that at least some of the shots fired came from automatic weapons.
The ShotSpotter program seems pretty much the only part of city government that is actually working as promised. The CWB cites dozens of their reports backing it up. They also have this tidbit:
- Critics of the ShotSpotter system insist that it is inaccurate and ineffective. Some say it is racist. Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx claimed that ShotSpotter does not contribute significantly to firearms-related prosecutions in the city.
Yeah, the only thing that "does not contributes significantly to firearms-related prosecutions in the city" is Crimesha and Crimesha's office. The USDA contributes more to firearm prosecutions than Crimesha, and they're prosecuting at LOW numbers during this administration.

How stoopid can she be for saying that? Everyone knows the reason is because she or her office is too lazy to prosecute, and she will go out of her way to not help Law Enforcement in any manner. She just continues to double down on her displayed ignorance and bias.

Word salad is all part of the communist playbook.
The media, writ large, are the public relations outlets for the communists who run the government.
When you hear the word "Globalist" on talking head TV or from any of the criminals in government, just insert the work Communist.
They are one in the same.
They don't want to use Shot Spotter because it makes it more difficult for them to hide their agenda of non-prosecution of violent minority offenders.
How do you destabilize a neighborhood, city, society? By allowing rampant and violent crime and psychologically destroying the morale of police, but to a larger extent, demoralizing the community of people who want safe neighborhoods.
Once this occurs, people flee to safer areas, property values plummet, tax revenues decrease, and those who were behind the agenda swoop in and purchase all the property and land for pennies on the dollar.
There is an agenda, and the agenda isn't for law abiding American citizens.

Brandon's going for the body count record next year, and he doesn't want any Shotspotter alerts screwing it up by sending first responders to a scene before the bodies cool.
Obviously, Mayor Conehead has his priorities.
Shotspotter is as racist as an ATM machine.

Keep up the dealio with 100 people shot on an extended holiday weekend, this city deserves what it voted for. I have no sympathy for "feel good voters", hippies, liberals and the idiot race baiting/race hustling population who get harmed, you deserve what you get tenfold.
IF the area only had a "Sassafras-Spotter" it could likewise detect Big Gulp Root Beer discharges as well.
The initiative would be called...'Hire's for hire.'

Someone will call it in, for a variety of reasons:
They might be next.
They know what has happened and want police presence, quickly, in case the one(s) who discharged firearm(s) might also know that they know.
They are involved with the discharging of a firearm(s), and are doing the fake out flimflam.
They know some one or more of the preceeding will call, so, jump in and be on the record as calling it in.
These motives for reporting via 911 calling are typically human ones, though not as morally motivated as you presume are the valid reasons for doing so.
Imagine how calming it must be for the folks attending the DNC knowing that the city’s ShotSpotter technology is working flawlessly in the neighborhoods they will be in.

Sounds a lot like KM and her band of suck pumps in 189. She’ll tell everyone who’ll listen that units are the work horses of the department and shouldn’t be relegated to duties patrol should handle. It's thinking like this that is illustrative of the fact that the average Joe just doesn't have the perspective needed to understand from 40,000 top down view.
"Kimmy" as you call her is doing EXACTLY what she was installed into office for. She has been a complete success to those who put her in charge.
Prosecuting and gaining conviction of criminals is NOT what she was installed for.
Understand that and you'll never view her as incompetent or failure again.

Our city council, being the authorized elected body to legislate, can nullify many actions taken by our city executive branch.
Potentiality does not, however, equal practical possibility.
