Finally, someone is taking the onus off of the minority communities:
Several people were killed or injured in a series of unrelated shootings that took place around Chicago following Fourth of July celebrations, police said.
The largest shooting occurred about 12:15 a.m. Friday, when the Chicago Police Department responded to the Little Italy neighborhood. Investigating officers found several people who had gunshot wounds, police said.
Investigators believe an exchange of gunfire took place between two individuals, leaving eight injured. The suspects have not been identified and fled the scene, police said.
Someone's seventy-four-year-old grandmother (great grandmother?) stepped up and took a round in the leg for equality. That's some amazing dedication to evening out the statistics.
Why, we were just perusing the numbers over at HeyJackass.com and we were appalled at the 96.5% minority victims/offenders of crime and thought to ourselves that someone really ought to try to even that out. And then someone could let the ACLU know, so that they stop crying about "over-policing" and traffic stop "disparities" in the hood?
Italian Americans really deserve a statue or something downtown. Maybe that Columbus guy?

Although I'm sure one of the people shot was wearing something Italian made. There's hardly any Chicago-born Italians left in this city. I have to drive all the way out to Tinley Park or Schaumburg to get a good Italian Beef or Chicken Marsala now.
Why would the "news" stations keep repeating that the mass shooting happened in Little Italy instead of where it actually happened The Abla Homes. Are they trying to mislead people into thinking that Italian Americans shoot people at random over Facebook posts. True racism is perpetrated by the woke.

It is so sad that the strong ethnic communities Chicago once had a gone. Back in the 1960's a now passed on friend lived in an Italian/German community in Chicago. It was the HQ of a Mafia family that, he said, ran some sort of restaurant supply business. He told be they would not tolerate drugs, prostitution, messing with the Cop's, thievery, and they kept an eye on people from outside the community.
Even though I live in Wyoming. For years this blog has been a window into what is really happening in Chicago.

Very true he has stated numerous times “ I’m the senior Sgt” he has made mistakes and played favorites with that overtime schedule numerous times. PO’s have had arguments with him face to face over it basically screaming matches in that office. The sad part is the commander has no idea that the reason the troops are complaining is because of how he handles the overtime. He is the reason for most of the problems. He changes the rules, takes care of certain officers, removes the sheets without telling anyone .. the list goes on and on. Every watch should be responsible for the sign up he shouldn’t be the only one overseeing it.

To Sgt LB (050), does LB stand for Lazy Butt?
I think you are mad because if you were to retire you would have to split that check 3 ways, and plan to stay until 65. But remember, you stated that DOA was getting their credentials back as LEO's so, you will be going back to 015.
You really need to get rid of thise whie(yellowing) socks, or use some bleach when you wash them. PS, there is this remarkeable invention that the rest of the world uses, it is called Anti-perspirant/deodorant.

It’s rather simple…
SENIORITY rules the days, kiddies.
If you discover that someone with less time than you got OT you also put it for or should have been offered:
1). Bring it to the C/O’s attention to attempt informal resolution with the understanding it won’t continue moving forward.
2). File a grievance as seniority as it relates to OT is protected under Section 23 of your CBA. You will be “made whole” eventually as there are existing arbitration awards and agreements which set precedent.
3). If/when the supervisor(s) in question allow it to continue after being put on blast that it needed to stop, obtain a CR number on said supervisors for: RULE 10 - Inattention to Duty and RULE 11 - Incompetency or inefficiency in the performance of duty… for starters. This usually gets their attention and brings them to heel rather quickly. Only the dumb ones will persist, but they’ll hand themselves in due time. You just have to be persistent and document everything properly… Ask me how I know
Remember…Shit like this continues to happen because you allow it to continue to happen.
And how many O'hare PO's filed a grievance? How about taking the little wet nose PO's and move them out onto the real streets?

I try to stay as far away from the subject due to the coul odor that follows hi around. It is almost as if a strom cloud hovers over him and follows him. As for his yellowing socks, they are visible due to the flood pants that are at least 2 inches too short.
